Chapter 341 - Chapter 340 Meeting

Aizen arrived at a base located under a hospital, posing as a "Ceaser."

In the base's bar, Aizen encountered Vodka and Cohen.

Upon seeing Aizen enter, Vodka and Cohen made no attempt to greet him. Aizen's identity as a "Ceaser" made him unpopular within the organization, primarily because he didn't actively seek out new friends. Even Cohen, who had been saved once by Aizen, simply expressed his gratitude and showed no interest in becoming friends.

Since the two didn't greet each other, Aizen naturally wouldn't either. He simply asked, "Vodka, where's Gin?"

"What do you want to see Big Brother for?"

Vodka acknowledged the question, but he didn't immediately reveal Gin's whereabouts.

Aizen said, "I need to see Shirley. If Gin isn't here, take me there."

Vodka replied, "If you want to see Shirley, just contact Vermouth. She's at Shirley's place right now."

Aizen nodded, walked outside, and called Vermouth.

Aizen wanted to see Shiho Miyano. Vermouth didn't refuse, giving her the address over the phone and telling Aizen to go there himself.

A few minutes later, Aizen arrived at a laboratory and saw Shiho Miyano, one hand handcuffed. She was sitting on the floor, opposite Vermouth, smoking a cigarette.

Upon seeing Aizen walk in, Vermouth pointed at Miyano Shiho and asked, "What do you want to see her for?"

Aizen glanced at Miyano Shiho, then said to Vermouth, "I want to talk to her alone. Please leave first."

"Oh? You can't let me hear that?"

Vermouth raised an eyebrow, but didn't seem to want to stay. She walked towards the door and spoke as she passed Aizen.

"Don't even think about saving her, Ceaser."

Aizen didn't reply. After Vermouth left, he walked over to Shiho and squatted down.

"My sister...did something happen to her?"

Shiho looked up at Aizen. She looked much more haggard than she had been a while ago.

Aizen hesitated, then nodded slightly. "Killed by Gin."

Although she had expected this, Miyano Shiho couldn't help but burst into tears when she heard this answer. Her voice was mournful, and she made no effort to hide her feelings in front of this stranger.

Aizen didn't offer any words of comfort. He waited until Miyano Shiho's sobs subsided before he spoke, "Is there anything I can do for you?"

"Kill Gin? Can you do that?"

Shiho glared at Aizen fiercely, as if he were Gin.

Aizen shook his head. "I can do that, but you can't give me what I want. As compensation for failing the mission, if you have any unfulfilled wishes, if they're not too difficult, I'll help you with them."

Shiho was silent for a long moment before saying, "If I die, can you help me bury my ashes with my sister's?"

"No problem. Leave it to me. I'm sure I can do it."

Aizen nodded in agreement, then stood up and walked outside.

"Thank you!"

Shiho's low voice of thanks sounded behind him. Aizen didn't turn around, but closed the door after he left.

Glancing at Vermouth who was leaning against the door, Aizen walked away.

Vermouth saw this and caught up with Aizen, looking at him sideways and said, "Were you the one who attacked Gin and Vodka a few days ago?"

Aizen turned to look at Vermouth, a little surprised and said, "Why do you ask that?""Because I know something others don't."

Vermouth smiled mysteriously. "Sherry asked you to protect Akemi Miyano, right?"

Aizen stopped and looked at Vermouth. He asked in surprise, "How did you know this? I haven't told anyone, and I don't think Shirley would tell anyone else. How did you know?"

"You don't need to know how I know. I have my own channels."

Vermouth had no intention of answering this question. In fact, she was guessing. Shirley was a cold woman who cared about nothing except her sister. Therefore, the only reason Shirley and Ceaser had a connection was that Shirley asked Ceaser to protect her sister. Although it was just a guess, it didn't stop Vermouth from pretending to be mysterious. Letting Ceaser know how powerful she was would not harm her in any way.

Aizen walked forward and said, "Gin killed the target I wanted to protect. If I hadn't wanted to leave this organization, he and Vodka would have been dead that day."

Vermouth said in disbelief, "Are you so sure you can kill Gin? He's not as simple as you think."

Aizen sneered, "He is very powerful and has a keen intuition about danger, but if I have any real intention of killing, he won't have a chance to escape."

"Okay."

Hearing Aizen say this, Vermouth believed it a little, and said with a smile, "You don't know, Gin has been looking for who attacked him recently. You destroyed his car. Although he still looks cold, I know he is very angry." Aizen said, "He should be thankful. At least his life is saved."

Vermouth looked at Aizen, "How about I tell Gin about this?"

Aizen's expression remained unchanged, and he said indifferently, "Whatever you like."

"Okay, how about coming with me to the bar for a drink?"

Seeing Aizen's nonchalant expression, Vermouth had to drop her threats. She'd been hoping to make this guy owe her a favor, but now it seemed she'd have to give up. She didn't want to tell anyone about this, because if they started fighting, the organization would suffer, and she wouldn't benefit at all.

"How could I refuse a beautiful woman inviting me for a drink?" Aizen said with a smile. He wouldn't leave until Shiho escaped. He knew that Shiho would flee the organization either today or tomorrow, and he had to ensure her safety. This time, he was traveling with both his real body and his mirror image, just in case.
