Hi, I'm Yura. 26 year old retired mercenary, oh you're asking how I retired so early? Well, meet my stub. Yes yes, long story short my left arm got cut off, ironically enough by my own comrade, hah friends am I right? Well, today I'm off to the store as I need to head to the supermarket to replenish my needs. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm a local gunsmith! I used my rights as a veteran to get a license and yeah here I am now slightly less poor than before. I walked past the video game store but something shiny caught my eye. They had a new game released, Gun Point huh? I thought it sounded cool, but it can only be played using the new full dive gear. Oh, full dive gear? Where have I heard that before, Well since I have extra cash and it does sound promising I went ahead and bought the game and console? It was just a headphone thingy that had little glasses, and the game was just a microchip in a glass case. I then went home to check on the store, business was not booming. As expected since I do live in a remote place with few people walking around the streets. Since I had free time I went ahead and checked out the new game that I bought. I quickly assembled the device, there weren't that many parts just a few screws, and I had to find the slot where the microchip goes in. I sat back on my reclining chair put it on and pressed the tiny button on the side that said start. My vision went black as a few words popped up in front of me.
"Please Log In/Register" I pressed register and put my name down as Yura and I put in my password as 3mith. It might be short and stupid but surprisingly enough it works. I warped into some dark space when some white light talked to me. "Welcome player Yura, please customize your agent."
I gasped in shock when I first heard him but I chuckled at myself for being silly I set my appearance to default and pressed confirm. Suddenly particles loaded in as people, buildings, and grass formed in the background. I walked around and realized something, "I HAVE MY LEFT ARM?!" People turned their heads and looked at me weirdly, I said sorry and ran to a nearby alley. As the light reflected off the building I sobbed, I joke about how I lost my arm even though it really is one of my deep traumas. I wiped my tears away and looked at my surroundings, I didn't realize how beautiful it really was, there were skyscrapers everywhere buildings of all kinds but the most attractive of them all was the huge gun shop sitting in the middle of the city, I quickly rushed over to see what types of guns they had. From Beretta Pico pistols, Barrett M82 sniper rifles, Ontario MK 3's, Phillippine balisongs, and AK47s. They all range in different prices with the Barrett being the most expensive at $9000. Being new to the game and all he bought the Barrett as fast as possible as it only had a few in stock. After that, he tried to buy a desert eagle, he scratched his head as he realized he spent all his money on the Barrett. "I should refund this," said Yura as he tried to give it back, unfortunately, the system doesn't allow refunds so he was stuck with a Barrett and nothing else. Whilst other people had proper equipment. Bulletproof vests, Combat knives, a rifle, a handgun, and most importantly, food and water. As they tried to make it as realistic as possible they simulate hunger and thirst the same way as real life. While he was stuck with a Barrett he felt hungry, scratching his head while realizing how his dumb mistake might've caused him everything already. The dilemma got to him so he strolled inside the huge shop again, only to find the best thing that can fix his mistake, It was a video game machine. Although it wasn't just any video game machine he had seen before, this one was something else. He had to dodge a bullet! Only God knows how he could pull this off. He stood in the middle as the gun kept moving left and right aiming slowly but always keeping track of him. He weaved approximately 3 inches to the right, then the gun went bang! The machine pulled the trigger. He did it, and the crowds of people gasped and clapped their hands as he claimed the prize, 1000$ this all happened in less than 3 seconds. He first analyzed what gun the machine had, it was a Ruger Blackhawk, since it was a revolver the chamber would move before the gun shoots, he saw the chamber move at the exact time the revolver aimed directly at his lungs, and he knew then that it was his time to react, he predicted the trajectory of the bullet, and the range, with his inhuman reaction speed. People then went on to try and imitate his try only to get shot and have to respawn as a skinless player, players that own nothing other than a pair of underpants. He bought the Desert Eagle 357 for 800$ He then bought a Fairbairn Sykes knife for 120$ then the rest for food and rations. Well, this is the start of how Yura Smith conquered the gaming world with a sniper rifle. A sharp sound reverberated as empty pistol bullets hit the ground. "Interesting." A Reaper-like grin formed on the dark shadow's face.
