The beggar syndicates are usually local bullies or influential figures. They abduct children from various places, then cripple them, taking some organs to create a pitiful appearance and elicit sympathy from passersby.
With such a begging strategy, they can earn more money, while the organs, such as the eyes and limbs removed from the children, are traded at high prices on the black market for huge profits.
Ling Feng had seen many such incidents on Earth, even in highly developed cities with advanced civilization and technology, beggars like these would appear, impossible to control or completely eradicate, let alone in the world of Jiu Zhou.
Ling Yao and Song Ruozhao both watched the children, their expressions quite similar.
Ling Yao, as the Ancient Goddess, has a kind heart and cannot bear to see such suffering in the Mortal World, especially the pain endured by children.
