Ling Feng wasn't in a hurry to leave America, because he still had things to take care of.
The last time he was in the Aztec ruins, he accidentally acquired a Crystal Skull, which sparked a deep interest in the object. Later, upon learning the whereabouts of another skull, he naturally wanted to find a way to get it.
Catherine drove all the way at high speed, reaching Washington D.C. by noon. The two then found a hotel in the downtown area and checked in.
Once in the room, Ling Feng sat down and called Rick.
Once the call connected, Rick asked, "Boss, have you arrived?"
"Yes, and you?" Ling Feng asked.
"I arrived this morning. Where are you now? I'll come find you!" Rick said.
Ling Feng nodded, gave him the hotel address, and then hung up the phone.
