The fat rat spirit's voluntary appearance surprised Yusuf Zuck and Demi Garrett, but they didn't show it outwardly; they sat across from it, one sipping Immortal Tea delicately, the other downing it in one gulp.
The fat Maitreya, which is what the rat spirit called itself, was quite courteous, with a thread of Immortal Spirit Qi, resembling a refined, out-of-this-world master, smiling gently.
"Are the two of you from the Lower Realm?" the fat Maitreya asked casually.
"The Lower Realm?" Yusuf Zuck and Demi Garrett exchanged a glance, then Yusuf asked, "May I ask, fellow Daoist, which realm is this?"
"You two don't know?" The fat Maitreya seemed momentarily surprised.
Yusuf Zuck and Demi Garrett simultaneously shook their heads. Isn't this the Heaven's Gate World? And what realm does Heaven's Gate belong to?
"This is the Firmament," replied the fat Maitreya.
Firmament?
Yusuf was greatly shocked, while Demi Garrett just froze for a moment.
