Karson Schwartz could not leave the Scholar City; even his father, Jake Schwartz, didn't know the exact reason. Jake knew only that the Clan Leader of the Schwartz Clan, Denton Schwartz, had a lengthy discussion with Karson that lasted six hours. After the six hours, Karson calmly walked out of the Council Hall, returned to his own small courtyard, and commanded that no one shall approach this courtyard within two years upon penalty of death.
Not long after Karson stayed in the Scholar City, Yusuf Zuck and the immense lifespan Zayden Newton finally made their way back to Mount Xumi.
The two sneaked back without anyone knowing, and upon reaching the plaza of Mount Xumi, Yusuf Zuck released Kase Day, Fast Shooter, Wolf Fang, Zayden Newton, and seven other bandits including Wilson, Stone One, and Hazel Dodson.
Kase Day and his companions were previously bandits, thus familiar with managing a bandit lair, proving to be a valuable reference for Yusuf himself.
