Chapter 14 - Luck force-The theoretical experimentations!.

Ebon was sitting on the bed, while through the window contemplating floating white clouds.

'Now then, let's see the luck condition!'

Aizen looked at the images above his head.

The inner sphere was full with the gold liquid-like substance, the outer sphere was empty.

Concentric spheres had illusory white, vibrating in slow-like motion, string connection to a barely visible image of the honey badger that was located in relatively far distance away from the image of the green academy-like building structure.

The green academy building structure gave a sensation of prosperity!

Every once in a while, faint illusory images appeared and faded near the building.

The rose color image of the bearded man with a hammer and anvil above his head, close to the spheres, gave a feeling of security and novelty.

All in all, these were the most prominent images in real-time luck condition visualization. Other minor details were not worth mentioning.

Aizen had a pensive look on his face.

'hmm, let's make some theoretical experimentation on the power that can create serendipity, shall we?'

Instantly illusory, an abstract figure of the Aizen appeared near the Concentric spheres, mystical characters were written above the figure –"opportunity for the qualitative power-up within the week, in the iron country".

Some volume of golden liquid was consumed to increase the "reality density" of the Aizen`s abstract figure.

Next, Aizen just stop supplying the image with fortune force and waited some time.

With every passing moment, the figure was slowly fading away until it completely collapsed!

'interesting so conditions are too abstract and less specific, thus image stability is problematic.

I reckon it would be necessary to supply periodically or even almost constantly with fortune power so that, in this case, the figure could maintain its existence at the given "reality density".

From the image's "reality density" parameter I can make a guess about the certain opportunity manifestation probability. Later, I should with different, less costly, image make a fortune manifestation probability reference scale from 1% to 100%.

Alright, time to make some adjustments and gather more information for further deduction and analyzes'

Aizen kept changing the next parameters:

Time-from week to days.

Space-from the country of iron to his house.

The image`s "reality density" stayed the same while the time-space parameter was changing, the requirement to sustain that figure was, of course, different.

Interestingly, the image`s location from concentric spheres adjusted automatically!

The distance from the concentric spheres symbolically meant the future!

Next, the image`s "reality density" was changing while the time-space parameter stayed the same. The bigger the percentage increase, the more costly it was after the certain stage and the faster it faded away. For instance, a 10% increase of probability after approximately 50%+ was much costly, and fading time of that 10% was faster.

Aizen, of course, hadn't yet constructed the fortune manifestation probability reference scale, however, it was still possible to guess an approximate percentage increase.

The different images were constructed, observed, and then forcefully destroyed.

During this forceful destruction, the part of luck's power condensed back as a golden liquid into the sphere while the other was lost.

He also wanted to adjust parameter the 'specificity meaning' of the "qualitative power up"- Aizen wanted to test the thought-the more concreate the meaning and the more he himself was ready to embrace that opportunity, the less costly it would be and also the need to frequently provide the image with luck force would be reduced.

Unfortunately, the golden liquid had already been mostly used up.

'too bad, I can only postpone the further theoretical experimentations.

It is necessary to create an image with enough prudence otherwise the cost to sustain it will be quite troublesome!

If I don't want to specify space and time parameters using a quantitative method I can use a qualitative instead, like moving images in space from concentric spheres to some other images.

The image's distance from the concentric spheres symbolically represents a time-space principle.

Interesting! with the luck system I can somewhat see a glimpse of the future and the current state of things, while information of the past can be reverse engineered!

Alright, I would like to see just how much time it would be required for natural luck capacity to fully regenerate.

As for the extendable luck capacity, I don't have any plans to test it out in the near future!'

Suddenly the fragrant smell of food made way from the opened window and welcomed with elegance Aizen`s nose.

Ebon made some mental notes and headed downside.

'wonderful, it is dinner time! in my past life, I never had a chance to thoroughly enjoy earthly food. To think it would be so refreshing!'

'tss'-Aizen opened the kitchen's door and what greeted him was Kajin sitting on a green cushion with tranquility like an ancient buddha in deep meditation.

Ebon slowly set down and made a greeting nod.

A piece of rice was calmy placed in Aizen`s taste buds.

Warm meat gave of invigorating feeling, while tea steam floated in the air gracefully as if containing endless mystery within.

Kajin elegantly cut meat into small pieces. The way he placed food in his mouth and chewed, definitely, showed certain respect towards food.

The scene had left the impression as if every piece of meat was an incomparable treasure that simply could not be wasted.

Time slowly passed.

Ebon and Kajin had finished their meal.

Food was digesting in their stomachs, giving the spirit the feeling of calm satisfaction.

Aizen and Kajin in a relaxed manner began to tidy up the kitchen.

After some time passed.

"Alright! Come to the blacksmithing room, time to show you something new!"-mildly said Kajin, his slow and gradual beard-stroking manner gave off some mysterious, refreshing feeling.

A hint of interest flashed in Aizen`s attractive eyes.

Inside the forging room.

Kajin slowly started talking:" there exists a variety of ways to train chakra control. I, personally, have come up with the method which is quite suitable for chakra forging masters to whom hands are the core forging tools ."

The man moved his hand and pulled out a bundle of black ribbons stacked neatly and bound with a special string from the wooden box.

"Take these ribbons and tie them into as many knots as you can manage, using only your chakra.

By the way, these ribbons are made of a special chakra conductive material so it has a certain sensitivity to chakra thus it eases bending them.

But it is still quite a challenge you know?" Kajin smiled a little" the droplets of perspiration will moisturize your skin long before you're finished with these little strips of special material.

it is a certainly wise choice to throw away any expectations that the level of speed or accuracy should improve by leaps and bounds!

Do the best you can without fixating too much on an outcome and may you enjoy your challenge!"

Kajin stroked his beard with a steady hand movement and carried on.

"You can hold the ribbon between your thumb and forefinger, like so," and he pulled a ribbon from the stack."Driving the chakra out from your tenketsu(chakra point) much like you would handle the exhalation in your meditation breathing technique, think about the chakra caressing the ribbon, stroking it to bend to the shape you will it, like this." The ribbon in his hand looped around itself rapidly and graciously until its full length was in knots.

Having finished with the exercise demonstration, Kajin leisurely move to the side and took a warm teacup to his face, but before taking a sip he with an easy-going manner advised Ebon.

"make sure to replenish your chakra between attempts. You really don't want to know the feeling of trying to squeeze out that last bit and going empty." with that said he gulped the refreshing tea and shortly after that smoothly offered the bundle of ribbons as well as the green book to his nephew.

"After you get some gist of this chakra forging exercise take a look at this movement technique description, you know this is the most basic and common samurai movement skill also referred to as "Sokudo", but there is a big power hidden in the humble basics."

Aizen purely stared at the ribbons and the green book with a small handsome smile of his.

'Simply put, another interesting thing…'
