Worried, that's how I'm feeling. I really don't know why Maximo called Alexander. I wonder if it has anything to do with Vince or those mafia's. I can't help but think about it.
"Should I go and check up on him? No, what if he's busy. Maybe I'll call him. It's possible that he's busy and can't take my calls now. God, I can't take it," I contemplated.
I couldn't think straight anymore. My mind was on the sudden phone call from Maximo to Alex. What could it be? As far as I know, Alex and Maximo aren't still on good terms with each other. So it can't be a normal or friendly call. Something must have happened.
"I'll go and see him and know what's up. He might not want to tell me, but I'm going to get my answers no matter what," I decided.
I rose from my seat and headed for the door. As soon as I opened the door, I found Madeline standing outside in front of my cabin. She was about to knock on the door. It was clear with the way she lifted her hand for a knock.
