Quirks, a phenomenon that appeared over a hundred years ago with its first official record being a newborn girl in China who was literally born glowing. The baby's skin emitted a bright light that made the existence of quirks impossible to conceal.
After that the number of people being born with a quirk started to increase at an unprecedented rate, but there was one thing that was disturbing to the researchers. There were nomen born with a quirk.
Nobody understood why exactly the possessors of the Y chromosome were not a part of what many considered to be the next step in evolution but before long the rate of birth of boys started to decrease as well. To the point male population was getting far smaller by each generation and endangering the continuation of humans as a species. That is until science managed to create a method for children to be born with no need for males, causing the importance of men decrease day by day until today where men were considered to be a rare sight or even the remnants of a bygone era.
"What a bullshit." Which was the kind of weird ass world I was in now after finally starting my Waifu Catalog adventure.
Long story short, a multiversal slavery company called Waifu Catalog exists. How do I know that? My parents are high ranked members, which is how they met.
'You have slaves? I have slaves! We should totally fuck!'
They claimed that their relationship was far more romantic but I doubted it.
Anyway, being the child of two high ranking members meant that I had the power of nepotism on my side. Which was how I got my own wish to become a contractor come true.
Though I definitely shouldn't have allowed my parents to have power over my world's changes due to Universal Calibration. I had thought that they would just gender bend some people, adjust some ages and maybe threw a few crossover characters into this world in a way they would fit. Not to turn the whole world into girls!
But nope, instead they literally caused a world that should not have logically existed. Cause why not?
"Baki, are you listening?" Speaking of crossover characters, here was Ichiki Hisako, one of my only friends in this world and someone that I was, only a hundred and twenty percent, pretty sure to be a Marvel character before my parents fucked up this reality.
"No, not really." I said as I stretched my arms above my head, I would never get tired of having muscles like these.
"I asked if you were really sure about taking the exam?" Hisako asked with a worried look on her face, not that I really blamed her. A man trying to join the highest education center of heroism? That was considered to be impossible.
"Worried I won't be able to get in?" I asked with a smirk and Hisako scoffed.
"No, you can run through that exam with a blindfold. I am worried about the amount of attention that will bring on you. Do you really want to deal with media as the sole male hero?"
"Not really, but the look on people's faces after I become a hero without a quirk will be just too delicious for me to ignore this opportunity." I said with a chuckle, not mentioning the fact that I really wanted to have the girls of UA under me and see how much my parents have changed the possible class arrangements with these new people.
"Of all the reasons to do this..." Hisako said with a groan.
"You better ace that exam, or I'll make fun of you till the end of time."
"See you at UA then." I said with a smirk as I walked away.

"Principal, are we really allowing this?" A blonde woman with a skeletal appearance asked to... some sort of rat like creature in a suit, who simply took a sip from her cup of tea.
"Of course, it's not like it's against the rules or anything." Nezu, the super smart principal of UA, said with a shrug while Allmight looked ready to spit out blood with nervousness.
"That's because nobody actually thought that this would happen. Letting a young man, someone without a quirk, is simply far too risky for their health." The number one hero of Japan and the newest member of UA faculty tried to reason with Nezu, only for the rodent principal to snort.
"There have been applicants with quirks that might as well been nothing in the past. All that matters in this exam is ability, something young Hanma Baki seem to have in spades." The principal said with a snicker as she looked at the camera with the young man in it, jumping up and down for warming up.
"Not to mention that your successor, who is there as well, was quirkless until a short time ago. Isn't that right?" The principal asked with a smile and Allmight finally ended up spitting out blood.
"How... how do you even know that?"
"Ahh, little Yagi, I know everything." Principal said with a demented laugh of a moment before turning back to normal.
"But for now, let us simply observe." She said and watched as the exam started and then her eyes widened as she saw the young man run at a speed that was far too fast for someone without a quirk and punch a hole through a two pointer robot.
"My, now that is interesting."
