Except for Liu Ziyang, other producers at Yuehai wouldn't choose such a script to produce, and if not to impress Zhou Yun, Liu Ziyang wouldn't have taken on such a risky project with uncertain commercial returns.
Working with Zhou Yun has changed some of Liu Ziyang's original views. Although Liu Ziyang has always believed that unless Zhou Yun stars, and unless it's an actor like Zhou Yun who can really uphold a show, most actors still need to rely on the benefits of the genre; they can't attract audiences with just any role. But Liu Ziyang slowly accepted Zhou Yun's attitude. A show can be very popular, but if its reputation and quality are average, in the long run, it's actually not good for a creator.
Liu Ziyang used to think that being popular is just being popular, and not being popular is just not being popular, with being unpopular as the original sin. Now Liu Ziyang has tasted the benefits brought to him by "Deep Sea."
