Wan Lanlan said, "You've been quite prolific these past two years, and it's been three years since you last worked with Zhou Yun. When you decided to collaborate on 'Chen Yin' this time, did you think of getting Zhou Yun right from the start?"
"This wasn't a project I developed myself. Someone brought a great script to me, asked me to direct it. After I had a look, the script was indeed good and covered a genre I hadn't worked on before. I was very interested, and they were keen on matching me and Xiao Yun for a second collaboration. I also wanted to work with her again, so I immediately asked her, and she agreed right away," Kang Xin said with a smile. "This was definitely the fastest time I've ever cast the lead without much hassle. It was very pleasant."
Wan Lanlan said, "I recall Zhou Yun mentioning in another interview that as long as Director Kang Xin invites you to act, you will definitely accept."
