Ian Lockwood was also on a plane back to Aethelgard.
He had gone to Aethelgard on this trip specifically to help Vera Warner establish her company. Now that things on Vera's end were mostly settled, there was no need for him to stay in Aethelgard any longer.
However, he wasn't returning alone this time. Faye Lockwood was sitting beside him, tears glistening in the corners of her eyes.
Seeing his sister looking so sad and forlorn, Ian Lockwood couldn't help but console her.
"It's okay. It's all in the past now. Don't dwell on it anymore. It's time to start fresh."
"We'll be home soon. Once we're back, I'll ask Vera Warner and President Morgan to join us for a meal. We can all sit down and clear the air. Wouldn't that solve everything?"
"Knowing Vera's character, I'm sure she won't hold it against you. You just have to promise not to do anything foolish from now on."
