Meanwhile, Faye Lockwood had also arrived in Aethelgard. She and Luna White were now sitting on a high-end, custom sofa in the Vance family home, sipping red wine from Ferraigne and enjoying themselves immensely.
Faye Lockwood took in the Vance family home's layout and its sheer scale, remarking with awe,
"The Vance family's power is no joke. To own such a massive mansion on this prime real estate... it's truly a sight to behold."
"Luna, you're a true lady of a powerful family now. You've found love and all. You've got to look out for me—your best friend is still single, you know."
After hearing Faye Lockwood's words, an imperceptible flicker of melancholy crossed Luna White's eyes.
'Perhaps I'm the only one who knows this isn't what I wanted,' she thought. 'But fate wasn't on my side, and there's nothing I can do about it.'
"Lady of a powerful family? Don't tease me."
