Victor Morgan felt like he'd just taken ten thousand points of damage. 'Is this really my grandfather? People say love skips a generation, but there's no proof of that at all.'
"Pfft, ha ha ha!"
Seeing Victor Morgan looking so flustered, Vera Warner couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"What are you laughing at?"
Victor Morgan asked, feigning seriousness. 'This woman isn't saving me any face in front of my parents.'
"Now you know, don't you? You're not the favorite in the Morgan family anymore. It's our Luke and Zola."
"If you dare bully me again, don't blame me for playing rough."
Vera Warner lifted her chin and said haughtily.
"Dad, Mom, we're heading out now."
After saying his goodbyes, Victor Morgan pulled Vera Warner into the car. 'I really need to teach this woman a lesson.'
Watching the two of them drive away, Mr. Morgan couldn't help but sigh with emotion.
"Look how perfect those two are for each other. It's hard to imagine our son acting like this."
