Faye Lockwood shrieked furiously at the group. She even tried to strike out, but she was powerless to get past Violet.
"Victor, let's just go. We're frightening the children."
"I don't know what's gotten into her, but I'm worried she'll do something crazy. We shouldn't stay here."
Vera Warner said, a little afraid. The Faye Lockwood before her felt like a complete stranger, as if she'd become a different person entirely.
'I'll have to ask Timothy what happened later. For now, we need to get out of here.'
'The last thing I want is for this to traumatize the children. It's not worth it.'
"Alright."
Victor Morgan agreed softly, taking her hand and leading her slowly toward the exit.
Seeing them about to leave, Faye Lockwood grew even more frantic.
"Where do you think you're going? You can't just leave! We haven't sorted this out!"
Faye Lockwood lunged at them, but Violet blocked her. She stumbled back a few steps, knocking over a vase on the counter and shattering it.
