Mrs. Ellison had originally thought Vera was just a pretty face. Someone had told her that Vera was throwing herself at her husband and trying to take over his company. The accompanying photos had been sent by an anonymous source.
Mrs. Ellison didn't usually get involved in her husband's company, but she couldn't possibly sit back and do nothing when a crisis like this erupted. That was why she had come to confront Vera.
On top of that, she had a fiery personality and had brought a few toughs with her to intimidate Vera.
But Vera's words left her completely dumbfounded. 'This woman isn't some pretty face or a homewrecker,' she thought. 'She's a sharp, capable, and truly remarkable woman.'
"The loan... that was really all from you? And you're Willow? The top designer?"
Vera nodded. "Yes. And that's not all. I'm also Victor Morgan of the Morgan Group's girlfriend and the mother of his children. Do you really think I'd throw away a man like him to come steal your husband?"
