Even though Luna Warner didn't want Yvonne Chapman to speak, Yvonne was a mother. She couldn't possibly let her daughter die right in front of her.
So Yvonne Chapman couldn't hold back any longer. She stepped forward and said, "Let Luna go, and I'll tell you everything."
"Just start talking. I don't have the patience to negotiate with you. We'll see what's faster—you talking, or your daughter dying."
Things had already come to this. How could Vera possibly be in the mood to bargain with them? All she wanted was to get to the bottom of this immediately. She wouldn't wait another second.
Seeing her agitation, Yvonne Chapman didn't dare to hesitate. "All right, calm down," she said quickly. "I'll tell you right now."
But just as Yvonne Chapman was about to speak, Victor Morgan suddenly arrived. He was stunned by the scene before him.
Victor Morgan walked over to Vera. "Vera, this is a police station. What are you doing? Let her go, now."
