Victor Morgan decided to just pull the blanket over his head, completely ignoring Vera Warner's warning. He was determined to stay put, no matter what.
Vera Warner strode forward, yanked the blanket off, and said angrily, "Victor Morgan, get up right now. If you don't..."
But before Vera Warner could finish her sentence, Victor Morgan quickly pulled her down, instantly capturing her lips and trapping her by his side.
"You big scoundrel, if you don't let me go, don't blame me for what happens next."
"Sorry, but whether it's strength or fighting skill, you can't beat me. So you might as well give in gracefully."
Looking at the lovely woman beside him, Victor Morgan wished he could just devour her whole. 'I must have wasted the last twenty-some years of my life,' he thought, 'to have never known such bliss existed in this world.'
He, who had never been one for women, could now only be described as practically drooling at the sight of Vera Warner.
