Once Lin Xinghai dealt with the threatening Spitters and Blood Worms, the zombie tide no longer posed much of a threat.
The remaining five Death Claws and Giant Arms didn't dare attack the branch base under the threat of the Fission Missiles.
So, at that point, the outcome was more or less decided.
Lin Xinghai had originally planned to wait for the Death Claws' and Giant Arms' berserk states to subside before charging in for another round of killing.
But before he could act, they retreated on their own.
Then again, it made sense. After all, Lin Xinghai had used over ten High-Energy Bombs in his last charge, severely injuring a Death Claw.
And that was a Death Claw in a berserk state. If it had been in its normal state, Lin Xinghai would have likely taken it out in a single assault.
Combined with the fact that Lin Xinghai had eliminated the Spitters and Blood Worms and still managed to retreat unscathed, he had demonstrated unparalleled combat strength.
