Hera looked at Lin Yi in disbelief, then turned her head toward the Guardian she had always respected, her face full of incredulity:
"Gelgar Guardian, is this true?"
Annabella's steps came to an abrupt halt.
The foot that was about to step out of the forbidden threshold suddenly retracted, while the Guardian stopped next to Annabella.
Both of them almost simultaneously looked at Lin Yi, and Annabella suddenly laughed and asked Lin Yi:
"As expected of the Chosen One, I didn't expect you could see through it at a glance."
Then Annabella started applauding:
"Clap, clap, clap"
"Impressive!"
Seeing this, Hera was shocked to her core on the spot.
She stared blankly at the only elder beside Annabella in the clan:
"Why?"
"Why do this?"
Gelgar Guardian finally spoke:
"Because our Succubus Race must find a way to continue."
Annabella chuckled and looked at the devastated Hera:
