In the basement of Stovefire Island Manor, Nora finally cheered.
She picked up the petri dish containing the original essence and excitedly spun around on the spot, the sparkling green liquid rotating inside the dish, quickly evaporating into a gas, and slowly seeping into her skin.
With the completion of the Ritual Task, vast knowledge of the Law flowed into her mind. Nora sat in the chair beside the experiment table, her eyes tightly shut, her long eyelashes fluttering slightly.
Over two hours later, she opened her eyes again, and her pupils had become somewhat different.
It was a dazzling gold, clinging to her brown irises, conjuring a strange palette of colors.
It was the Extraordinary Power of the Evolution Law, which, due to the special nature of "Evolution" and "Life Body," resided within her body.
(And not like other Laws, hidden deep within the Spiritual Body or even the Mind Body, which required the embodiment of the Law to emerge)
