Chapter 146 - Suppressed feelings

...

Sis Lin's expertise kept me begging for more and more, and by the end of our naughty time together, I had climaxed an uncountable number of times.

Still, her lovey-dovey mode was outrageously active today, and the cuddling sessions lasted even longer.

All good times come to an end, though, as Sis Lin and I caught a Bus back home and separated near our houses... well, not before we had another kissing bout, though.

After dropping Sis Lin at her house, I quickly made my way back home.

I just hope that Celesta isn't back home yet. She hasn't been angry at me recently, but... who knows what might happen.

Taking out my phone to check the time, my face paled upon seeing three missed calls from Isla.

Don't tell me that something bad happened to her? Isla doesn't usually call me at this time. I hope that everything's alright.

As I tried calling Isla's number, I only received busy tones.

...

Returning home, I stealthily tried to sneak my way up to my room. However, a loud discussion halted my steps in between.

"You liar! There is no way you are acting like normal!"

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut uppp!!"

As I peeked from where I hid, Lara was screaming at Lanita, while Lanita had a face full of suspicion as she glared at her elder sister, Lara.

Lanita smirked at Lara as she mockingly asked,

"What? Can't handle the truth? Your face becomes all red whenever we talk about her!"

I wasn't sure what they were talking about, but Lara seemed troubled by Lanita's words as she weakly replied,

"I-It's a lie..."

A look of shock came upon Lanita's face as she asked Lara,

"You... don't tell me that you..."

As if her tail had been stepped on, Lara screamed back in response,

"N-No! It's nothing like that!"

Lanita looked at Lara with a disbelieving gaze as she asked,

"Then what?"

Looking somewhat lost for words, Lara gave out a half-baked response,

"It's... that is... umm..."

In a weird turn of events, Lara was being pressured mightily by Lara on some topic. Probably something to do with her romantic life?

Not wanting to get dragged along into the mess, I ignored the quarrelling sisters and went back to the stairs.

"Lara, is something bothering you? You can tell your Big Sis anything."

My steps halted again upon hearing that voice.

Celesta... she is back home.

I sneaked my way back towards the living room and began to eavesdrop upon the sisterly conversation.

A mocking smirk came upon Lara's face as she spoke to Celesta,

"And why are you being so interested in me so suddenly, huh? Some 'Big Sis' you are."

At her words, Lanita shouted back in response,

"Lara! Don't talk to her like that!"

Lara unflinchingly glared back at Lanita as she spoke,

"Oh yeah? And what's up with how you have been talking to me? I am older than you, right?"

Lanita's face quickly turned red as she emphasized her own point of view,

"Only by five minutes! And why are you dragging me into this?!"

Seeing her own two sisters locked in a confrontation, Celesta quickly interjected between the two and spoke to them,

"Lanita, calm down. Lara, I know that we may have our differences, but we are still one family. The world is not such a safe place nowadays for girls our age..."

A blanket of silence fell upon the three, as each of the sisters began to contemplate their own issues.

The silence didn't last long, though, as Lara shouted back at Celesta,

"L-Like you are the one to talk! You can just beat up any pervert on the street anytime! K-Kuh! How frustrating! Why do you have to get all the good things every single time, huh?!!"

Lanita looked at her twin speechlessly as she muttered,

"Lara..."

Celesta, on the other hand, looked totally puzzled by Lara's accusations, as she asked,

"Good things? Which ones are you talking about?"

A vein seemed to have popped on Lara's forehead as she erupted again,

"Y-You dense moron! I-I hate you!"

Lara shouted at Celesta before she ran out of the room.

I quickly hid myself so as not to be exposed by her.

Really, she's just being jealous, isn't she? But, what good things is she being jealous about?

Well... Celesta is a super beauty... is kind to others... understanding... smart... good at her studies... approachable... talented in cooking... super cute... innocent-minded... a loyal friend...

Uh oh, there is too many to count. Hehehe, my girlfriend is the absolute best!!

As I was giggling to myself and gloating about getting such a great girlfriend, the front door opened up, and someone walked towards the living room.

"I am back... Hmm? What's wrong, you two? Something happened?"

I-Isla! Is she okay??

Oh, she looks fine. Thank you, God. Maybe she called just to ask about something.

The trio continued their talks, with the strained atmosphere becoming relaxed with Isla's arrival.

Lanita stared at her exhausted Mother guiltily as she tried to explain the situation,

"Mom... It wasn't much, but..."

Isla seemed confused at Lanita's words as she asked again,

"Hmm? What happened, Lanita? Are you not one to mince words? Is something wrong?"

Celesta decided to take over the talk, as she replied to Isla,

"Mother, Lara was acting strange today. When I tried asking, she became angry and rushed back to her room. Would you mind asking her about it? Maybe she would talk to you about it?"

Isla sighed in exhaustion while eyeing her two kids with pity.

"Oh... really. She is a child who likes to create trouble. Oh well, might as well deal with this issue too. Oh. right! I wanted to tell you two something. My cousin from overseas called before and invited me to visit them. I asked my superiors, and they decided to give me a few days off too."

Lanita's mood became jubilant as she asked,

"Ohh! Great! Are we all going on a trip?!"

Isla smiled slightly as she shook her head in denial and spoke,

"No, Lanita. I am... planning to go there alone this time. I am just... somewhat tired of things and..."

Celesta noticed Lanita's distraught self and began to placate Isla's troubled emotions first.

"It's okay, Mother. You can go with a relaxed mind. I will take care of everything here."

Isla looked at her eldest daughter with pride in her eyes as she remarked,

"My, how reliable. Then, I will be taking up your offer, Celesta. Thank you again."

Lanita finally came back to herself as she complained,

"Uh, not fair! I wanted to meet Uncle too..."

Isla laughingly dodged the bullet as she replied,

"Ahaha, maybe next time, Lanita. Then, I will be going to check up on Lara for now."
