It was discovered that she was quite adept with Sea Snails and had connections to various people in the criminal underworld, especially dealers who bought stolen or illegal goods.
Morgianna was seen as someone valuable but slightly problematic, so Alfred hesitated to turn her in after the close call before turning her over to Tristan.
Tristan provided mood stabilisers and other treatments for her impulse control problems, but recommended not trusting Morgianna too deeply.
It was recommended to appeal to her nature to recruit her, so that was when the idea came to pay her with jewels rather than anything else.
A part of the problem came from her impulse control disorder and kleptomania, but it was more deeply rooted in her childhood from growing up in poverty, causing her to feel jealous of others and want more, even if it meant stealing it.
The best way to keep her on track was to put together a system where she would be rewarded for the things she accomplished using things that she was drawn most to.
There still needed to be some level of control to prevent her from fleeing some extra measures needed to be put in place.
If she were able to foster camaraderie and friendship during everything, then that would be even more helpful toward helping her develop deeper relationships and find somewhere that she could belong.
The box she opened contained the model known as wildcat or lynx, which was another of the Mink Zoan Devil Fruits, while she gained some communication equipment and other things to suit her skillset, like lock picks and disguises.
The rest of the team was made up of others who could handle themselves but had a variety of skills to suit different occasions, as there was a need for those who could handle different types of transportation and solve various problems.
Not all of them had very high combat abilities, so they were given more supportive roles while they were granted additional protection from the Mink Devil Fruits.
Others were recruited to mainly act as snipers, as two sharpshooters took up two spots.
A little under half of the group had other methods to aid them toward growing stronger, as not all of them got a Devil Fruit, but that was helpful in a way, since there would be capable swimmers among them.
Each of them was from one of the four blues or the first half of the Grand Line.
Each of them had their own motivations, as some joined the White Storm to seek out opportunities, while others held a deep hatred toward bandits or pirates.
Others had their own problems, as some had long lost their trust in the Marines, so they sought out other alternatives in life that could help solve their problems and let them pursue their own dreams and sense of justice.
They all had their reasons for joining, whether it was for protection and security or to pursue a better life for themselves.
With how the team was structured, even if they were not close to the same strength as the others, they had enough support and resources to quickly make them stronger.
Lance was made the captain, while Morgianna was made the vice captain as a result of her being just as useful in many areas that helped toward gathering intelligence and putting together solid plans of action.
The first half of the Grand Line was not the only place to experience a group being formed, as the same took place among some of those who followed the White Storm there or the newer recruits.
Among them was a member of the Kuja tribe who was a part of a branch of the Kuja who had not returned and settled on an island, starting their own tribe.
They did not possess the same snakes as pets like the Kuja, but that could have had something to do with them settling on the island.
The tribe was discovered during a task to help settle the dispute between two neighbouring islands, as a result of one side needing resources and the other needing men to repopulate.
That situation resulted in conflict as one side tried to invade to take away the natural resources they needed, while the other side did the same to them to steal away some men.
They were both lacking in diplomacy, and their methods were more forceful as they believed that might made right, but once there was some intervention to stop them and make them talk, both sides could see a way to put aside the past and cooperate.
Among them were a couple of people who were intrigued by the group that intervened after taking on one of the mercenary tasks, so it resulted in some leaving their islands and joining the White Storm.
Among them was a female who had been from the tribe named Pari, who stood out the most for her taming capabilities and her mastery over a shamshir-type sword that had a radically curved blade, so she got recruited into the newly formed special task force.
She still possessed quite the talent for taming animals, as she had tamed a large elephant as her mount.
From the other island was a warrior called Lazaros who specialised in using a shield and javelin spear.
Another among them was a male giant named Griff, who had lost an arm in the past, and he did not originate from the existing Elbaf giants in the New World.
Another was a woman who was a female luchador named Reina Garcia, while another was a female trio from Zou who were a part of the adventurer and mercenary group that was established in the New World once Alyssia started to become famous in Zou.
There was a Lemur Mink named Snafu who had a more calculating personality and participated in more dangerous tasks than the others, which involved going into dangerous territories where there could be an ongoing war.
The next was a Raccoon Mink named Pippin, who was not so confident in close combat, but she was quite a good shot with a rifle.
Finally, there was a Tanuki Mink named Seka who took on more adventure and exploration jobs when she was not working in the group of three.
The squad leader for the second team was decided to be Pari due to her superior mastery over Haki and her versatile skillset, while the vice squad leader was decided to be Lazaros.
Pari was a warrior of her tribe and had grown up adapting to her environment, which was very harsh to live in, while working with those of her tribe and hunting or taming the wildlife.
