Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

Jack wandered casually through the interior corridors of the Helicarrier, hands in his pockets, looking around with interest. Even after everything he had seen—Asgardian battleships, alien technology, giant transforming weapons—he still had to admit that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s technology was impressive.
A massive flying aircraft carrier hidden in the sky by stealth systems powerful enough to fool the naked eye…
Humanity really had progressed quickly.
Agents in black uniforms moved rapidly through the corridors around him. Some carried data tablets, others hurried toward the control rooms. The entire Helicarrier operated like a gigantic machine, every person becoming one of its gears.
Meanwhile, Jack looked completely relaxed.
Unlike the tense atmosphere around him, he strolled around as if he were sightseeing in a shopping mall.
"Don't you have work to do?"
A cold female voice suddenly entered his ears.
Jack turned toward the source of the voice immediately.
A tall woman stood nearby with her arms crossed.
Beautiful.
Sharp.
Cold.
Her face barely carried any emotion, as though the entire world owed her several million dollars and she had no interest in forgiving anyone.
Jack's eyes lit up slightly.
A wicked smile appeared on his face.
"Commander Hill," he said politely.
The woman before him was Maria Hill, one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s highest-ranking agents and the commander of the Helicarrier itself.
Maria Hill had always been known for her cold efficiency. Born during a freezing Chicago winter, she had entered the world under tragedy—her mother dying shortly after childbirth because of the extreme weather conditions. Her father had never truly forgiven her existence, and that childhood shaped the indifferent personality she carried today.
Efficient.
Domineering.
Emotionally distant.
That was Maria Hill.
Hill frowned slightly when she saw Jack smiling at her.
For some reason, this man's face made her uncomfortable.
"The entire Helicarrier is busy," she said flatly. "Yet you seem very relaxed."
Jack sighed dramatically.
"Commander, I wanted to work seriously too," he said helplessly. "But everyone here is too enthusiastic. They grabbed all the jobs before I even had a chance to contribute."
Hill looked at him expressionlessly.
"That sounds like an excuse."
Jack placed a hand over his chest.
"Commander Hill wounds my heart."
Hill ignored his nonsense completely.
"If everyone worked with your attitude, this carrier would crash into the ocean."
Jack nodded seriously.
"That's why capable leaders like you exist."
Hill narrowed her eyes slightly.
The more this man talked, the more suspicious he seemed.
Then she noticed something else.
Jack's gaze.
His eyes were wandering slightly lower than appropriate.
"Where exactly are you looking?" Hill asked coldly.
Jack immediately straightened up.
"Sorry, Commander," he said honestly. "Your figure is too good. My eyes acted on instinct."
Hill's face remained cold.
"Control your instincts."
"Yes, Commander."
Hill stared at him for another moment before speaking again.
"What's your name?"
"Tom," Jack replied immediately.
"Tom," Hill repeated calmly. "Since you seem to have so much free time… do two thousand push-ups."
Jack froze.
Hill continued coldly:
"Train harder during peace. Bleed less during war."
Jack's face immediately changed.
"Commander…" he said emotionally, "you care about me this much?"
Hill blinked once.
"…What?"
Jack suddenly grabbed Hill's hands dramatically.
"No one has ever cared about my physical health before!"
At the same time—
Tears began pouring down his face dramatically.
Of course, they were fake. Jack had secretly used his water elemental powers to create them.
Maria Hill's usually calm face stiffened completely.
She instantly pulled her hands away.
"Don't touch me."
"Sorry, Commander!" Jack wiped his fake tears. "I grew up without parents. Nobody ever cared about me before, so I got emotional."
This time, oddly enough—
Jack wasn't entirely lying.
Before obtaining his powers, his early life really had been miserable.
Hill's expression softened for the briefest moment.
Very briefly.
Some old memories surfaced in her mind as well.
A childhood without warmth.
A father who looked at her with resentment.
That feeling…
She understood it better than most.
"…Forget the push-ups," Hill said finally. "Come with me."
Jack immediately brightened.
"To where?"
"The command center."
Jack widened his eyes dramatically.
"The command center? Such a high-level place? Commander, are you promoting me?"
"Just walk."
Hill turned and walked away.
Jack followed behind her obediently, though his eyes naturally drifted downward again.
Hill's long legs and perfect figure inside the black uniform were difficult not to notice.
Jack's lips curled slightly.
Unfortunately for him—
Hill noticed.
"Where are your eyes looking now?" she asked without turning around.
Jack answered honestly again.
"Commander… your figure really is excellent."
Hill's eyebrow twitched slightly.
This man truly had no fear.
"Manage your eyes properly."
"Yes, Commander."
Soon, the two entered the command center.
The atmosphere inside was much more serious than outside.
Huge holographic screens floated in the air while agents monitored countless streams of information. Satellites, communications, weapons systems, radar tracking—all of it moved continuously.
Jack casually glanced around.
Then he saw familiar faces.
Natasha Romanoff.
Bruce Banner.
Captain America.
And, of course—
Nick Fury.
Besides Fury, everyone else here already had quite the history with him.
Hill walked toward the main control area.
"Can you understand any of this?" she asked.
"A little," Jack replied modestly.
Hill looked at him suspiciously.
"Do you know how to operate these systems?"
Jack scratched his head.
"I'm afraid I'll disappoint you, Commander."
Hill crossed her arms.
"As long as you can follow instructions and think, you're already above average."
Jack suddenly stood straight and shouted loudly:
"I CAN THINK!"
The entire command center instantly became quiet.
Everyone turned to look at him.
Several agents stared at him as if wondering how someone this strange ended up on the Helicarrier.
Even Fury glanced over.
"Hill," Fury said slowly, "what exactly are you doing with this soldier?"
Hill answered calmly:
"I'm testing whether he has potential."
Fury shrugged slightly.
"As long as he doesn't break anything."
Natasha slowly walked over toward Jack.
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked directly into his face.
"Soldier…" she said slowly, "have we met before?"
Jack maintained a completely innocent expression.
"I've definitely seen you before, Agent Romanoff," he said politely. "But someone like you probably wouldn't notice someone like me."
Inside his mind, however—
He was laughing wildly.
Seen you before?
I've done much more than that.
Natasha stared into Jack's eyes carefully.
Something felt familiar.
Very familiar.
But she couldn't place it.
"…Strange," she murmured. "I feel like I've seen your eyes somewhere."
"That's my honor."
Hill interrupted coldly.
"Agent Romanoff has more important matters."
Natasha glanced at Jack one last time before stepping away toward another terminal.
At the same time, she secretly pulled up "Tom's" information file.
A complete background appeared instantly.
Birth records.
Education.
Military training.
Employment history.
Perfect.
Too perfect.
Natasha frowned slightly.
Meanwhile, Hill continued speaking to Jack.
"Watch them carefully. Learn something useful."
Jack nodded obediently and walked toward one of the workstations.
Several agents operated the systems rapidly.
Jack glanced at the screens casually.
To him—
This level of technology was child's play.
After all, White Queen alone surpassed most of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s systems.
Ten minutes later, Hill walked over again.
"How much did you learn?"
Jack turned around calmly.
"I understand everything now."
Several nearby agents immediately looked at him strangely.
Hill narrowed her eyes.
"If I discover you're lying," she said coldly, "you'll lose your qualifications to remain aboard this Helicarrier."
Jack sat down at the computer confidently.
"Commander," he said seriously, "I would never disappoint you."
Then—
His fingers began moving across the controls at astonishing speed.
Even the nearby technicians became stunned.
The screens changed rapidly.
Codes flashed continuously.
Tracking systems activated.
Signal analysis.
Satellite synchronization.
After only ten seconds—
Jack suddenly stopped.
Then he looked toward Hill calmly.
"Commander," he said,
"I found the target."
