:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Above the southernmost sea region of South America, the sky suddenly tore open with a surge of blue energy.

It didn't explode outward violently at first—instead, it spread like dense mist, expanding slowly yet irresistibly, swallowing the surrounding air in a deep, glowing haze. The ocean below reflected that eerie blue light, turning the waves into shifting fragments of another world.

Then—

Something emerged.

A figure… and a cube.

Jack was thrown out of the spatial distortion, his body spinning uncontrollably in midair. Beside him, the glowing blue cube—the Tesseract—floated briefly before separating from him, drifting away in a different direction.

For a split second, both hovered between sky and sea.

Then gravity took hold.

Jack plummeted straight toward the ocean.

The Tesseract shot off into the distance, its trajectory unpredictable, vanishing into the vast expanse of the sky.

Below—

The ocean surged.

A sudden burst of water erupted upward as a massive creature broke the surface.

A six-meter-long great white shark.

Its jaws opened wide, instinct guiding its movement. To it, the falling body was nothing more than prey—a meal delivered from the heavens.

Jack's unconscious body dropped straight into its mouth.

The shark snapped shut.

Then—

With a heavy splash—

It disappeared beneath the waves once again, leaving only ripples behind, as if nothing had happened.

---

An hour later—

A sleek, advanced aircraft skimmed just above the surface of the sea, moving at astonishing speed. Its engines hummed softly, leaving faint trails behind it.

Inside—

Agent Coulson stood before a screen, analyzing the readings.

"Sir," he reported calmly, "we've confirmed the source of the spatial energy. It originated in this region."

On the screen, a familiar face appeared—Nick Fury, his single eye sharp and focused.

"Have you found anything?" Fury asked.

"We're scanning now," Coulson replied. Then, after a brief pause, he added, "We'll send divers down."

"Do it."

Coulson turned immediately.

"You two—gear up. Dive at this location."

Two agents nodded and quickly equipped specialized diving suits. Without hesitation, they jumped into the sea from the aircraft.

The ocean swallowed them instantly.

Time passed.

Fifteen minutes later—

They resurfaced.

One of them held something glowing faintly blue.

They climbed back aboard.

"Sir," Coulson said, holding up the object, "we found this."

Fury leaned closer to the screen.

His eye widened slightly.

"That's… the Tesseract," he said slowly.

Coulson blinked. "The same one from the files?"

"Yes," Fury confirmed. "During World War II, Hydra used it as an energy source. It powered weapons far beyond anything we understood at the time."

He paused briefly.

"After the war, it disappeared."

"And now…" Coulson looked at the cube again.

"It's back."

Fury's expression darkened.

"Any other findings?" he asked. "Any signs of life?"

Coulson glanced at the ocean below, then smirked slightly.

"Well, there are plenty of sharks down there. Want me to bring one back?"

Fury stared at him.

"Save the jokes, Agent Coulson."

"…Yes, sir."

"Return to base immediately."

"Understood."

The aircraft accelerated, cutting across the sea and disappearing into the horizon.

---

Time passed again.

The sea remained quiet—

Until another vessel arrived.

A yacht.

Standing on its deck were three figures—Alice, Ada, and White Queen.

The wind brushed against their clothes as they looked out over the vast ocean.

"White Queen," Alice asked, "what do you see?"

White Queen closed her eyes briefly.

"Spatial energy was here," she said. "But it disappeared about six hours ago."

"So we're late," Ada said flatly.

White Queen nodded slightly. "But… we might still find something."

Her eyes opened.

"I've found something interesting."

"What?" Alice asked.

"A shark," White Queen replied with a faint smile.

Ada frowned. "A shark?"

"Yes," White Queen said. "A very strange shark."

"How so?"

"It looks… uncomfortable," she said. "Like it swallowed something it can't digest. It's struggling."

Alice blinked.

"…That's your discovery? We flew all the way here to watch a sick shark?"

White Queen chuckled.

"We're going to catch it."

Alice sighed, but still reached for a fishing rod.

"Fine. Let's catch your 'special shark.'"

She hooked a large piece of beef onto the line and cast it into the sea.

Moments later—

The line jerked violently.

"It took the bait!" Alice said, tightening her grip. "And… wow, that's strong!"

Ada crossed her arms. "It's just a shark."

Alice smirked.

"Watch."

With a sudden pull, she yanked the line upward.

Water exploded as the massive great white shark was dragged out of the sea, thrashing violently in midair before crashing down onto the deck of the yacht.

Boom!

The entire yacht shook under its weight.

The shark struggled wildly, its massive body slamming against the deck as it tried to escape.

"Poor thing," White Queen said calmly, stepping forward. "You shouldn't have eaten something you weren't supposed to."

She raised a blade—

And stabbed it into the shark's head.

The struggle stopped.

"Alright," she said, crouching down. "Let's see what's inside."

Without hesitation, she cut open its belly.

Alice and Ada watched without flinching.

Scenes like this—

They had seen far worse.

Then—

Something slid out.

A human figure.

Covered in blood.

"…What?" Alice froze.

Ada's eyes widened.

White Queen smiled faintly.

"Well?" she said. "Aren't you going to check your husband?"

Alice didn't hesitate.

She kicked the shark's body aside, sending it back into the sea.

Both she and Ada rushed forward.

Ignoring the blood, the smell, the mess—

They lifted the body.

Alice looked closely at his face.

"…Jack," she whispered.

Ada's voice trembled slightly.

"It's really him… what happened to him?"

"He's alive," White Queen said calmly. "Barely."

"We need to clean him first," Alice said quickly.

Ada raised her hand.

Water gathered instantly, forming a sphere that burst outward, washing away the blood and filth covering Jack's body.

"Jack… wake up…" Alice shook him gently.

"Wu Yang… wake up…"

No response.

Ada looked at White Queen.

"What's wrong with him?"

White Queen's expression turned serious.

"He's… in a very bad state," she said. "We need to get him back first."

The yacht turned—

And sped away.

---

Not long after—

Another boat arrived.

Standing aboard were Jane and Pepper.

"What do you see?" Pepper asked.

Jane scanned the area, her expression tense.

"We're late," she said finally. "Someone else was already here."

"Who?"

"S.H.I.E.L.D., probably," Jane replied.

Then she noticed something floating in the water.

"A shark…"

Pepper looked.

The body of the dead shark drifted slowly with the waves.

"It was cut open," Pepper said. "Recently."

Jane frowned.

"What happened here…?"

The air felt… wrong.

Unsettling.

"We should go back," Pepper said after a moment.

Jane hesitated—

Then nodded.

"…Yeah."

As they turned to leave, Jane glanced once more at the ocean.

Something had happened here.

Something important.

But they were too late.

And whatever it was—

It was already gone.
