"How do you know this?"
I had found his soft spot; while his voice softened dramatically, my second question came.
"You are here because of that sin, right?"
The man's angry facial expression, who previously thought I was just guessing, was replaced by a huge surprise emoji.
"I can understand you are a bit tense, but listen to me without interrupting, you will get all the answers!"
Starting from my last night, I told the man whatever happened until this moment; although our first contact was sparky, ultimately there was an adult in front of me, he would surely calm down and understand what I said.
"Wow, so that's how it is; now you know your power and features, and on top of that, you got a skill too!"
I had thought correctly; the man looking at the text above my head with his eyes had taken me and what I said seriously.
"Max, is this your name? I think I have the same thing above my head too, what does it say?"
Since I guessed he didn't know, I had never addressed him by his new name; I was wondering what reaction he would give when he heard it for the first time now.
"It says Sukrucuk above your head, brother!"
While speaking on one hand, I was struggling to hold myself back from laughing on the other; damn, was this a name to give to a huge man?
"Ah, it's all because of that fag-looking brother-in-law of mine; I told him so many times I don't understand playing games!"
The poor man was aggrieved; I tried to learn his last night by giving him sherbet according to his pulse.
"Tell me about this last night, why did you fall into Hell?"
"Don't ask, friend; our wives are three siblings, two girls and one boy. The middle sister-in-law had a wedding that night, we had no choice but to go, we are almost considered the wedding hosts!"
"The youngest one, the brother-in-law, is a complete good-for-nothing, unpleasant, sinister guy; the groom's side brought a male belly dancer, he insisted that we dance, perform belly dance facing each other!"
As he told the story, it was getting livelier; once we passed the beginning of the wedding and came towards the end, the real bomb would explode.
"We had a bit to drink too; while saying come on and all, I found myself on the stage, dancing with the male dancer. One of our relatives came and stuck money on my forehead. Man, not even ten seconds passed, that skirt-wearing clown waved his hand to grab the money, and his finger went into my eye!"
"Such pain, as if my brain was pierced; before he could say 'brother I'm sorry', I headbutted him. The woman screams on one side, this bastard brays while writhing on the ground, in short, all hell broke loose!"
"Finally we were at the police station; just as I was saying 'Oh God take my soul so I can be saved', my eyes blacked out, then I opened them and reckoning... In short, we fell here with that last head!"
"Then your name became clear, brother; around Kayseri they call the male belly dancer Sukrucuk too, they gave this to you as a punishment!"
Although I found it strange at first, I was grateful for the name Max right now; compared to the title attached to this huge man, mine remained like a stage name.
"What are we going to do now, you say I need to go and kill one of these, right?"
"Exactly, you stood among them for so many hours, could they do anything to you? Only, don't show that you will attack anyway; do you see that crazy one exploding on his own?"
I was pointing to a Fallen slightly separated from the crowd with my hand.
"Yes, I saw him!"
"We will wait; after he is thoroughly separated from the herd, you will go to him calmly and plant a headbutt in the middle of his forehead!"
"If we are lucky, this mob might drop a skill book for you too!"
After my last word, the middle-aged man brought his eyebrows closer to each other, twisted his lower lip, and looked at me in a way showing that he didn't understand.
"Brother, this place is prepared like an online game, creatures there are briefly called mobs, it's just a habit of speech!"
I was willing to make an explanation, a voice inside me said it would happen this time; luck was on our side too, when the crowded rhythmic group from which the single remaining mob separated switched to dancing, he became completely isolated from the environment.
"I'm going, I'll take his life and come back!"
While Sukrucuk was going out of the shield, I couldn't stop myself without making the final strike.
"Brother, think as if you are hitting the brother-in-law, see him on the face of the Fallen!"
The man was already troubled, after what I said he went completely berserk; he entered the attack range of the mob named Punk lvl 1 slowly with calm but long steps.
This creature, being Lvl 1, had no chance of knowing that Sukrucuk was enchanted, so to speak; he immediately turned to him and started to exhibit a dance figure where he interlaced his hands and arms.
They approached each other step by step; when there wasn't even a meter left, our man grabbed him by the collar and planted a headbutt along with a solid curse.
"Look at the bastard! He writhes like a snake in front of me; ah you brother-in-law, if I get my hands on you once I will rip your head off, ah!"
It happened; while the Fallen was slowly mixing into nothingness, there were a few metal coins and a hand-sized book on the ground just like with me.
"Help me guys!"
Punk lvl 1 did something unexpected while his last particle was disappearing; while leaving, he wanted to draw his friends to the middle-aged man who killed him by shouting a cry for help.
"Brother quickly take the book and run inside the shield, they are all coming at you!"
Sukrucuk continued to hurl curses with the intoxication of victory; if he didn't come to his senses as soon as possible, we would have to start everything from the beginning.
"Brotheeeeer, take the book and run, they are comiiiiing!"
I was shouting with all my strength; even like this, I could barely make my voice heard to our fierce young man. The man was over the moon with pleasure when he threw the headbutt.
"What a mop this is, man!"
While Sukrucuk, snatching the things on the ground, was running away with his heels hitting his butt, I was in mixed emotions; I didn't know whether to laugh at the man calling the Fallen a mop or be happy that he tried to adapt so quickly.
While I was thinking, the brother had come right next to me; the Fallen chasing him were shouting at us with hatred from outside the shield.
"You will come here, boy!"
"We'll turn a man into a madam, a madam!"
"You saw us like this, did you think we were Karamürsel baskets, man? We have as many of these underground too, boy!"
They were shouting angrily and making all kinds of hand gestures; Sukrucuk was still out of breath. When he collapsed on the ground unable to stand his knees trembling, the color of his face was turning slightly purple because he couldn't get enough oxygen.
"Get well soon brother, catch your breath a little; when you come to yourself, you will learn the skill in the book!"
His eyes were on the book he gripped tightly with his hand made like a claw; I guess Sukrucuk was more interested in getting out of here and the skill he would gain rather than the thought of escaping the torment he would suffer.
However, I had forgotten something; after the first Fallen kill, the man had a place to go. I didn't even find the opportunity to answer him, he disappeared in an instant.
I was wondering about the name of the book and the features of the skill; I said at least I'll have fun with these types, but the Bağcılar Region mobs gathering in front of the shield had also started to disperse after Sukrucuk disappeared.
I lay on my back for an hour and watched the sky above us; there was a slight peace inside me. We would share the same destiny with the middle-aged man at least until leaving the starting village; knowing that I wasn't alone felt good to me.
I wasn't sleepy; I felt as if I had never slept before. There was no problem related to basic needs here, I just needed to struggle for a purpose.
"Goodness points received +5!"
"First guidance bonus +5!"
Two warnings echoed in my mind in the moments I was thinking with pleasure on a calm afternoon; in the following process, another table would appear before my eyes.
There was a huge book opened from the middle in front of me; on one side it wrote GOODNESS and the page color was powder blue, on the other side it wrote EVIL and the page color was dark red.
I saw that the same sounds ringing in my head a moment ago were written on the part that said goodness slowly; while black letters came out from inside the paper, the two sentences were completed in a short time.
