Seraphina Redgrave sat in place, looking at Ethan Sterling indifferently, "Why did you stop, Young Master Sterling, go on, this way I can owe you a little less debt."
Once she's repaid his kindness, she wouldn't have to be so cautious in the future.
Was Seraphina blaming him?
She clearly had no intention of escaping, yet he almost hurt her.
Ethan awkwardly cleared his throat in a low voice, then slowly helped her remove the bone clamp; her calf was covered in a large bruise, painful to even look at.
Ethan looked at Seraphina, "It was Nathan Ayers who mishandled this matter, falsely accusing you. I'll punish him later, so don't be mad."
Still shirking responsibility.
Hearing this, Seraphina couldn't help wanting to sneer.
She looked into Ethan's amber eyes and said coldly, "No need, since I'm just a woman kept by Young Master Sterling, whatever you say goes, how dare I resist?"
...
She was indeed sharp-tongued.
