Corvo flew around trying to find creatures that he thinks Elder Lucy would like to eat.
He spots a battle bull which should be Rank 1 and goes in for the kill. He quickly hardens his wings with his steel bloodline and cuts the bulls head off and quickly increases his size to carry both the head and body back.
As he travels through the sky he wonders if Adam could pull it off and be a great chef. It would be amazing having a friend that can cook something that not only tastes amazing but will also help your cultivation rise just like those cooking protagonists in the novels. Corvo silently thought to himself.
He flew towards the cave with hopes and dreams in abundance and with drool fowing from his beak.
As he travels closer to the cave he notices Elder Lucy standing outside waiting patiently for him.
He dives down in his giant crow form placing the giant sized Battle bull in front of her. Startled by the size of Corvo and the Battle Bull she quickly takes a step back.
"Whew Corvo that's a big Battle Bull you found." She as she loses her decorum for a second.
He replied in an excited manner." Yea! I wanted something delicious to eat and I thought. Battle Bull would be great. I also thought it would be easier for you to eat than snakes or centipedes. Humans can be picky eater ya know."
Elder Lucy quickly imagined the scene in her head wjere Corvo brought a giant snake or giant centipede and wondered if she could eat it or not.
She imagined a purple snake full of venom dripping out of its mouth burning the area where it flowed out from then the image of a centipede with all those legs.
The image quickly left as soon as it popped into her head disgusting her greatly.
I thank you for your consideration Corvo. She said in a reserved tone.
Shall we bring in this headless Battle Bull inside the cave so that Adam can cook us a simple feast.
That was the plan Elder Lucy. I truly hope Adam is ready he is a shy and nervous Bird? Yes I think a platypus is still a bird or is it?
Corvo tried to remember the classification of a platypus was on earth but he couldn't quite remember. That's odd? He mumbled .I can't quite remember somethings?
He shrunk his body slowly walking in the cave.
Elder Lucy picked up the Battle bull and
entered the cave behind Corvo. She heard his murmurings but didn't say anything. Corvo was too special a creature to try and figure out.
"Corvo your back!" Adam said enthusiastically.
Corvo quickly let the thoughts fade away as he replied to Adam. Sure am! I caught you something big to cook. Hope you won't get intimidated by it's size. Corvo then laughed out loud.
Elder Lucy quickly followed behind Corvo carrying the giant Battle Bull in her hands. She quickly tossed it towards Adam which frightened him greatly.
Boom! The sound of a muffled explosion sounded out throughout the cave. Adam turned slightly paler as he saw the Giant Battle Bull land close to him and almost crushing him.
He fell on his tail feathers and screeched. Why would you do that! You scared me1 I thought I was going to die today!
Adam quickly got up and started chewing out Elder Lucy forgetting the fear he had just felt a second ago.
Slightly embarrassed Elder Lucy apologized.
Adams courage quickly deflated and turned away.
He examined the Battle Bull and noticed some choice meats but no way to cut them.
Embarrassed by the situation he told Corvo about his dilemma and Corvo channeled his Metal Crow bloodline that he had received from Latem.
He shook a feather off which was not only heavy but sharp. He picked it up with his beak and placed it in front of Adam and said One Crow feather knife at your service.
Elder Lucy just watched awkwardly as the exchange happened.
Adam picked up the feather with his wing and used the muscles to grip it as a knife.
Elder Lucy again stared awkwardly as a platypus did something no normal platypus could do.
Adam then scratched his head and noticed that there was no fire. He spoke to Corvo and he spewed some fire in the hole as Adam moved a slab of stone onto the hole.
Elder Lucy finally had enough. You two didn't plan this out very well did you?
Corvo laughed embarrassedly and said "Just the broad strokes." I kinda forgot to prepare plates and utensils and cooking supplies but we can make do. We are resourceful."
Elder Lucy seriously began to regret her decision today.
She just sighed and waited for the food to be done.
Adam used the feather to cut the ribs out and he used the berry sauce to marinate it for a full minute. He then took the feather and pounded on the meat to make it softer. He did so with enough force not to break the bones.
After cooking the meat on the stone slab he cut the rack up and quickly called for Elder Lucy to take a bite.
It's ready Elder please have a taste and tell me your opinion. As cowardly as Adam can be he was very confident in his masters cooking methods.
Elder Lucy quickly picked up a rib and took a bite out of it. The juices from the sause quickly burst out from the rib and was delicious. The meat was very tender and juicy. She nibbled against the bone like a hungry dog trying to suck out all the flavor.
She quickly gathered her wits and coughed lightly. She took a long hard look at this mint green platypus and sighed to herself.
I accept you into our sect Adam. Even though you're a weird bird your cooking talents are very good.
Adam puffed up his chest and said with extreme pride. "Of course,my master was the best cook in the world."
As a reincarnated person Corvo knew it was just that the Cultivation world was lacking in cooking talents because humans stopped eating at foundation level and before that they had fasting pills just like the novels he had read on earth. Who would dedicate themselves to cooking when everyone want to quickly advance in cultivation.
