Geng Zhong has been following the Cangyuan Wanderer since the Purple Mansion Stage because he made contributions in establishing Cangyuan Immortal City back then. Cangyuan Wanderer specially took him as a registered disciple and helped him quite a bit when he was forming his core.
Over the years, Geng Zhong has been loyally assisting the Cangyuan Wanderer in managing various affairs in Cangyuan Immortal City, even to the point of neglecting much of his cultivation.
