To the northwest of Longzuo County Town, the terrain gradually rises.
A wide river originates from the high plateau region of the large Celestial Dragon Mountain Range, flowing from west to east across the entire Longzuo, rushing into the sea from the Jinzhou Peninsula.
The mid-to-upper reaches of the river, within the Chijin Plateau, have a significant elevation drop eastward. The river carries along a mix of red sand, turning the waters crimson, with waves surging mightily and majestically. Therefore, this river is called the Chijin River!
Compared to the "winding and gentle" and "scenic for ten thousand miles" of the Anjiang, the Chijin River is turbulent and magnificent, with an imposing grandeur of swallowing mountains and rivers, possessing its own kind of boldness.
