Dr. Schneider and the two brothers were both stunned because they didn't react immediately, and their last meeting was many years ago, so they instinctively felt the other was quite familiar. But quickly, the three almost simultaneously realized who stood before them:
"You?"
"You!"
"You!"
The brothers didn't think twice before holding hands, stepping back into the suddenly appearing mirror, and vanished amidst the sound of shattered glass. Dr. Schneider looked at this scene in shock, glanced around bewilderedly to ensure they had indeed left, then took off his hat and headed towards the entrance of the hotel.
Seeing Shard standing there watching him, the doctor waved to Shard, not bothering to inquire what those two were doing here:
"You would never guess what I just went through, no, I'm not talking about meeting those brothers, I mean five minutes ago."
The doctor gestured, clearly a bit agitated:
"I was just walking through the city and almost got hit head-on by a train!"
