Of course, before officially venturing deep into the island, Shard placed the two newly acquired pieces of the Ever-Youth Leaf in front of him. The Arcane Technique granted by the leaf was directly obtainable without any learning rituals, and thus Shard acquired the Arcane Technique belonging to Silvermoon, "Binding Light," as well as the Sorcery, "Flying Blossom Spell."
When Shard obtained the leaves, Iluna asked him to try out his new powers to facilitate their use later on.
The casting of "Binding Light" required no Spellcasting Materials, and Iluna watched as Shard's right hand drew a circle in the air. After a silver Light Trace lingered in the air, his right hand passed through that light circle and struck towards the horse behind Iluna:
"Binding Light!"
The light circle encircled Shard's arm, then transformed into five silver light circles that flew toward the Skeleton Horse, binding its head, neck, body, and tail.
"The effect is quite good; my mount really can't move."
