The kettle in the room was bubbling on the small stove built by Priest Augustus. He got up, took the kettle off, and shook his head as he said:
"Shard, what do you think an Angel is?
Although I don't know why that Cherub would pass down its bloodline power to humans, Angels are not villains; you are thinking too much. Moreover, even if an Angel descends because of this, you don't need to worry. You just need to ask one question, and no Cherub will trouble you."
"What question?"
Shard asked curiously.
"If it wasn't in the chapel of my Lord, I wouldn't dare discuss this topic lightly."
The priest was secretive, and Shard knew what he would say must be related to ancient gods.
"The Ancient God of Knowledge and Wisdom, the 'Secret-Keeping Mentor,' is the guardian of all knowledge and wisdom. The Ancient God once sent its Angel, during the First Era, to the true death to explore the secrets of death, but was stopped by the Announcer."
