Normally, a False Treasure could never harm someone of this level.
However, the Shadow Devouring Flame was different.
Although it was only a False Treasure for now, its power could already rival that of a True Treasure. More importantly, when fueled with Alex's Chaos Energy, its ability to form a small black hole and disintegrate matter far surpassed even the might of most True Treasures.
So, not long after the Shadow Devouring Flame enveloped Zerath's body, its darkness immediately acted like a black hole, wanting to swallow him whole.
