As Alex was going through Nirvana one after another, he felt his bones cracking like dry branches. His flesh twisted, and every vein inside him burned like molten fire. The pain was terrifying to the point where it seemed to be endless. Alex felt as if he would die before the pain subsided. His vision blurred, his breathing turned heavy, and his heart felt like it would explode at any moment.
He felt like death itself was tearing him apart, but not taking away his soul.
The entire process can only be described in one word: Painful.
However, no matter how terrifying that pain was, Alex did not cry out.
Yes, he was groaning in pain, but groaning and crying are two different things.
Alex clenched his teeth as he endured the extreme pain. He didn't even know when, but his fists dug into the ground until his knuckles started bleeding. Deep inside his mind, a single thought kept ringing: "I must endure."
After all, his journey was just about to begin.
