Alex felt his mind spinning. For the first time, he realized how little he truly understood about the stages of cultivation. His heart was racing, and his mind was filled with a multitude of thoughts. The more he thought about the things Serena had just told him, the more shocked he became.
He always believed that cultivation was about becoming stronger step by step, moving stage by stage. But now, everything felt different. The stages of Life Creation and Death Domination no longer seemed like just stages of cultivation.
He felt his heart pound harder in his chest. If Serena had not spoken to him today, he would have walked down this path blindly, never knowing why he needed to create a Life Creation Core, or why he had to destroy it again later, just to form a Death Domination Sea. In fact, he might have accepted everything as normal, never once questioning why his spirit energy must become Death Energy.
Now, however, everything was different in his eyes.
