"You know too much intuition kills the owl?" the creature uttered before sitting near the makeshift grill, staring intently at the meat juice.
" I believe your words don't have much impact if you salivate and staring intense at it" sweat dropping, squinting my eyes suspiciously i think i have an idea what kind of creature this one is, but i just need to confirm one thing
"i will give you a piece of meat if you tell me who are you? "
"5 skewers"
"1 skewer"
"haah are you insane how will i be satied 3 skewers"
"as much as i would like to share i have limited supply 2 skewers and rabbits innard"
"*sigh* alright alright give me the meat first"
" No i will give you half the skewer first and the innards, i know your kind and i would not take my chances" I firmly stated, can't be outsmarted.
"Be grateful you are a beauty or else i would devour you instantly" the creature pouts but begrudgingly agrees to my terms
Placing the bowl with the agreed amount it greedily devours with no crumbs left expecting another serving it looks at me
"I'm the mountain guardian my name is Myokobbo, now give me the rest of the meat " the creature slyly replied thinking it deceived me.
"You are not a mountain guardian Myokobbo, one last chance what are you?"
Intimidated by my cold tone.
"sheeesh!chill how did you figure it out?" Myokobbo replied.
I only stared and placed my hands on my sword releasing killing intent
"*heavily breathing* Okayy quit it! Im a fox yokai I'm observing you this entire afternoon, just please please let me have the piece I'm too starving and i will not harmed you!" shouted Myokobbo the fox demon
Releasing my Killing intent, i prepared the rest of the agreed portion
" can you transform? I don't like it that you copy my dear satsuki" i request/threat the yokai
*poof* in place of the cat is a man with fox ears atop of his uneven cuts of long orange/red hair with slanted eyes painted with rouge at the edges, tall nose and with mole at the left of the nose bridge and pink lips, Dressed in a green pattern yukata with 5 tails flickering at his back. He is quite tall for a fox yokai having met only the female counterparts.
"There are you happy! So much demand *pouts* *wouldn't even bed with me why would I need to transform*" Myokobbo utters and some unintelligible whispers which i don't care much.
"hmm decent appearance I thought you would be like the other yokais who appears naked and wants to fornicate with me" I explained not letting my guard down they are crafty creatures too cunning for my own liking.
"but i tell you the truth I'm the somewhat the guardian of this mountain after i defeated the original guardian! " he protest loudly
"Hey if you want i can become your mate and having a fox demon at your side is beneficial, you smell good and i will protect you so how's that? A one in a kind of deal right! " Myokobbo smugly replied
"More like you just want me to cook for you, Not my style be thankful i gave you mercy for not slaying you right there in then" After i said that i consume and packed the remaining meat for satsuki i think she is playing somewhere.
Disheartened by my response he sulks and his gaze doesn't want to meet my eyes
"where is my cat?" i asked Myokobbo
He perks "That fat cat? I just seen them playing with the wild cats, want me to fetch them i could do it *pants* " Myokobbo Eagerly replied with a suspicious red blush coating his cheeks i don't wanna know what they are thinking.
"Nevermind I'm just asking, when are you going to leave?" i still need to sleep and continue my journey if this freeloader is saying he is coming i don't know what would i do.
" So Heartless! Beau you know you want me too, it's not like you can deny my charms, I'm the most handsome fox yokai may the lighting strike me if I'm lying" He boasted
'urgh what a narcissist! I hope they got fried because that would be hilarious' secretly hoping the sky would dare to do it.
After few minutes of waiting, there is no lightning, no thunder, nada for the first time this fox tells me the truth.
"*sighs* you only tell the truth if it's about you huh? I got a question before letting you stay for the night" i tiredly reply
"okay okay what is it? You know i could give you more information for just one kiss! Super cheap no collateral!" this fox with boner rising from his yukata.
"i doubt that! I will find my answers somewhere" I'm not taking my chances on that one, this is what the teaching of the sect do not be fooled by the yokai they always want something not so you use that leverage to make a better deal and more to your advantage.
"hmmph i know what you seek, are you going to ask when is nurahiyon going to be reincarnated right?" the fox entices me with the information.

"yeah! That's right on the heart of this mountain you will arrived at the chambers of where is lain and there is many yokais lurking to absorb the energy to become a high ranking yokai, why would I go there if i could just get the yang energy myself?" the yokai forgets that this is a classified information and just shared it to the young monk.
" That's great! If i only knew the path the journey would be lessend and not troublesome " letting a single crocodile tear slid this convinced the fox to spill more information.
" H-Hey! Don't cry you know i get aroused by someone crying i will just tell you! If you follow the white birch tree you will arrive at a Big Boulder with the kanji Rebirth inscribed at the center of the Boulder then you would need to smear a human blood to activate the rune and open the chambers below. It's super easy right? " Myokobbo ogling me while subtly touching his crotch.
" Um thanks? The deal i will give you the rest of the seasoned rabbit meat" I offered to the fox yokai which he gladly accept.
"*moans* it's so delish i couldn't get enough of this, would you give me the recipes?" Myokobbo inquires
"yeah sure wait a bit I'll write it for you" i comply it not that a big deal atleast my purity is not at stake no more
" Here you need to follow this recipe step by step, I also included how to find the ingredients and process of making them. Hopes this is what you seek" I smile while handing the recipe packet
"Awesome! You are not a deceiver i will depart now" the fox demon dissappeared but reappeared from behind me groping my pens and cheekily laughs the with pop he completely vanish.
"how much will i endured being harassed?" I'm sick of this, can't they just attack me normally with rage and everything that screams danger not with fervent lust or desire to mate.
"miaaaw" finally satsuki appears in her grimed glory
"heh you only come when you are hungry but when i need you to safeguard me, you disappear what are you a cat!?" i jokingly scolded this feline
Satsuki looked at like I was stupid and pawed continously at the bowl waiting to be feed
"*tsk* so spoiled, be thankful i loved you, you troublesome cat" giving her the peasant portion and she greedily inhales the food not forgetting to drink into the flowing river.
With that i retire for the night, i prepared in the branch of the tree and putting rocks around the fire to frightened the beast and prevents forest fire. Satsuki as always sits in my chest purring a lot of motor.
"good night satsuki!" and with that i sleep soundly to the cold breeze of the night.
THE NEXT DAY
i woke with a start as the light peered through the branches and i saw satsuki sleeping in my legs so that's why i have numbing sensation.
I gently nudge the feline as to not startle her but of course this little imp just bunny kicks my feet "ouch! Quit it you evil incarnate!" i proceed to yank her scruff and put her aside in another branch.
"Budshitiva!!" i was startled by Myokkobo dangling upside-down near my head.
"You know Beau i realized you never said your name to me, if you could share your name i would leave you alone for real for real" as This yokai suggestively lifts his dotted eyebrows
"*sigh* when would my soul get a respite from this monstrosity you called life?" lamenting at my misfortune
Staring at him "My name is M/n now shoo! I needed to meditate" having enough i put a banishing talisman.
"woah wait i never even get a chance to fuck you sidewa-! " his obscene words got cut off by a poof
"So this is silence? Thank you deities for this wonderful day i would never ever steal one of the sweets in the temple ever again!" as i gather my things to continue my journey.
