At the festival.
The festival was a scenario to be mesmerized in it. People laughing, dancing and having fun everywhere.
Couples holding hands, parents carrying their children in their shoulders. Some people were enjoying food on the other end people using their luck on games to win lucky prizes.
The whole place was brightened with colourful lights, candles, firecrackers and further away at the sky one can see the art of fireworks.
Red, blue,yellow,orange,green every colours were can be seen in one place it was like all the colours had gathered together to make the festival more colourful than the rainbow itself. That day the whole district city was in joy.
Rex was in awe at looking the people so much enjoying themselves and more than that he was a part of it.
Aleena - IT'S REALLY AWESOME! COMMON LETS GET SOME FOOD ON THE STREETS! ....AND TALK LOUDLY OR I WON'T BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND. ITS REALLY CROWDED HERE.
Rex - YUP! I GOT IT.
Aleena - WHAT? DID YOU SAY?
Rex - I SAID I GOT IT!
Aleena - OK! LET'S MOVE.
They reached a food counter that had opened specially for this big occasion.
Aleena - Two Egg Chiken Roll please!(giving order to the counter owner)
Rex - what is this dish? Never heard of it?
Aleena - it's a north-eastern dish, you probably never heard of it but it's taste great! I mean really great for events like this. It's easy to eat you can carry it along too and eat it while walking, dancing anything!
Rex - ok! Ok! I got its great!
Aleena - yes! Thats what I said too..
They both takes their orders and leave the counter.
Aleena and Rex walking while eating their Egg Chiken Roll.
Rex taking a bite,
Rex - wooow! This is gooooood!
Aleena also takes a mouthful.
Aleena - ii...old...ooo!
Finishes her bite.
Aleena - I told you ! Didn't I .
Rex bows to her and says
Rex - thank you angel for this food i will be forever in your debt!
Aleena burst out in laughter.
Aleena - stop joking! Hahahaha!
Out of nowhere suddenly Jessie arrives.
Jessie - Hi! Aleena you look really beautiful today!
Aleena - oooh! Jessie ...you look good too!
Jessie sees Rex and Aleena holding hands and gets broken again but he doesn't shows it.
Jessie - so! Any plans for today?
Aleena - don't know? We were just going with the flow! You know trying to enjoy.
Jessie - so their is a new thing that came this time for the festival!
Aleena with expectations,
Aleena - what! What! Tell me ?
Jessie - it's a new ride! You can see the whole district city from up above if you ride it!
Aleena joyfully jumps by Jessie's words.
Aleena - really! That will be so beautiful! Looking at the district city from above is a dream for me...
Aleena grabs Rex's hands more tightly and says
Aleena - let's Go! i can't wait to ride it.
Jessie, Aleena and Rex together runs towards the new ride to try it.
Near the new ride.
Rex - it seems the new ride is called the Skyscraper Wheel!
Aleena - what a weird name! But it's so huge! Look at it...
They all looks at the big wheel standing infront of them and spinning. It had small cabins to sit and it was filled with colourful lights.
Jessie - let's get in! The new batch is going to start.
All of them gets inside but as Jessie was going to get in, the guard stops him and says
Guard - not in that! The other one!
It seems that only two people each can sit in one cabin.
Jessie with no other option sits in a different cabin.
The rides starts.
As the ride starts Aleena suddenly grabs onto Rex's hand tightly in fear.
Rex - Don't worry I am here! It's only a ride.
Aleena - I know! But it just my instinct. And your hands are too comfortable i like to hold them!
Rex and Aleena both looks at each other.
Then suddenly Rex shifts his gaze and says
Rex - Aleena look it's so beautiful!
Aleena and Rex both were hypnotized by the beauty of district city.
It was filled with lights and the fireworks in the sky were like cherry on top.
They kept looking at the beautiful scenery holding hands until the ride finally stopped.
Rex - woooow! That was a good experience !
Aleena - yeah! Right I was so mesmerized by it ..ooh my god it was so good!
Suddenly Jessie comes out of his ride with a pale look.
Aleena - Jessie what happened?
Jessie suddenly throws up near Aleena.
Aleena - oooooh! ..... Aaah! You good Jessie!
Jessie - woooh! I am really not good! I think i should go now guys. I really not feeling well.
Jessie leaves them.
Rex suddenly burst into laughter..
Seeing that Aleena also started laughing...
They both laughed like idiots untill they suddenly heard a distant voice.
It was their dads. As they told them today it was the day of their announcement.
So both Rex and Aleena walks towards the stage.
