On the night of the red moon, a sinister force lurks throughout the empire. Some believe this dark energy stems from the fear of this ominous night that grips people, amplified a thousandfold by the moon's crimson glow.
Others, however, attribute this dark energy to the land itself, which was once a vast, foreboding dark forest before the establishment of the Fellmirr Empire.
Regardless of its origin, the dark energy seems to target the Beastmen, encircling them before entering their bodies on the night of the red moon.
In this state of possession, their minds become fragile and vulnerable, susceptible to the dark voices that urge them to wreak havoc and even harm their loved ones. Many fall for that provocation and end up doing the most regrettable thing of their life. Tragically, many Beastmen take their own lives upon regaining their senses in the light of the dawn, consumed by guilt and remorse of slaughtering their beloved ones.
