Chapter 14 - Ambrosia

"Are you really alright, Patricia?" Mayumi asked.

"Yes. Yes, I am. Please give me a minute, I am going to clean myself first," I replied, then went to the ship's comfort room.

After we had finished cleaning all the mess around Solana's spaceship, I put her golden ash remains in a certain metallic canister, sat on a corner, and started sobbing.

"I am not a killer, Mayumi. I just did what I had to do, and I do not know what really happened to me. I do not know myself anymore," I said to Mayumi and continued sobbing.

"It is alright. Remember, my family are warriors, right? I felt the same way when I took my first kill too," Mayumi said, then she embraced me so tightly.

Moments later, I suddenly grabbed the blue-haired girl's tablet gadget.

"I am going to sell all my Cardano now, Mayumi," I said, still sobbing.

"What is that?" Mayumi asked.

"That is my ultimate asset. It is a kind of coin. I am going all in now with the Solana token. You know, there is a digital asset named Solana where I came from," I replied, wiping the tears from my eyes.

"You mean wealth? Is it alright to do that now while you are extremely emotional because of your remorse?" Mayumi asked.

"No, it is not. Well then, 50 percent ADA and 50 percent SOL," I replied to Mayumi with teary eyes.

"May I ask, can you put yourself back to your original form? Or is that just the way you are now? A golden-haired, glorious, beautiful one?" Mayumi asked.

"Oh, let me try," I replied, then I closed my eyes and turned back to my original form slowly, but my stomach started growling.

"Oh, my grass! Let us find some food on this ship!" I said to Mayumi.

We searched every possible area that stored food, but we found nothing, so I became very disappointed and said, "What now? What should we do?"

"I feel hungry too, Patricia. May I have some of your blood?" Mayumi asked, and I agreed.

She bit a little on my left neck and drank some blood. After a few minutes, I started to feel weak because she had already consumed around a liter of my blood.

"Patricia! Patricia! Please fight for your life! I am sorry! I overdid it! Please fight back! Do not leave me alone! I cannot live without you! I do not know what to do if you are gone!" Mayumi said, begging for my life.

As my desire to fight for my life was the only thing that intensely came to my mind, I felt an inner fire start bursting from inside my stomach. I started to glow again, and my hair became golden-colored too. After that happened, I felt rejuvenated, and my hunger was already gone.

"So that is how it is, Mayumi. I feel godlike in this form I am manifesting. Maybe I will maintain it like this until we reach the planet of Draconia," I said to Mayumi.

According to Solana's chart of the solar system on her computer, planet Draconia was also the planet Mars. I could not believe that Mars looked almost similar to Earth here in 500 million B.C., just a little bit smaller with two moons.

"What now? How can we fly this thing?" I asked, trying to figure out how to drive Solana's spaceship.

"I wish this tablet gadget had an artificial intelligence and could override this ship's system," I said to myself, browsing the tablet gadget's apps.

"Oh, my grass! It has an A.I.!" I exclaimed, amazed by what I found.

I activated it immediately and talked to the A.I. With the help of the gadget's quantum tethering system, it overrode the entire system of Solana's spaceship, and I took over as the ship's new owner. After that, we set a course to planet Mars that would take six months of journey in outer space with the help of an autopilot mechanism.
