Ch. 205 Sukana
Pov.
-Kara-
"One for me and one for you, daddy." Lia plops another cookie into my mouth.
"No more. You're fat." I take the bag before she finishes them in a single sitting
"Am not, mommy says all babies are poofy."
"Poofy?"
"Yes, poofy!" She pokes my cheek "like marshmallows!"
"Thought you're a big girl."
"No! I'm a baby! So you have to give me milk and cookies so I can be big and strong, like you daddy!"
"Fine… have one more."
"Yay, can I have one before bed too, papa?" She munches on her last cookie as j take one for myself.
"Yeah."
"Yay! Hey, can mama have one too?"
"Shes tired now."
Been seeing doctors all week
They've all said the same thing.
Malnutrition.
She's been growing weaker.
She'll collapse whenever she gets too excited and she'll sleep like a log for twelve hours at least.
Every second was excruciatingly long.
It was like watching the little time I had with her slowly drain and there was nothing I could do about it.
"Oh. Can we have a picnic, papa? I want to have a picnic and have sandwiches."
"Maybe…"
"Can we see a movie too? And play with Odin and Carrot?"
"Sure."
"I want to play with Odin because he can turn into cats and dogs. " She babbles as I watch Cana sleep
Lia's resemblance to her was always incredible
I carried Lia out of the bedroom so Cana could rest when there was a sudden knock on the front door.
I set Lia down, ready to answer before recognizing his Preseance…
I open the door
"Yay! It's Grandpa Garp! It's Grandpa Garp!" Lia squeezes between my legs and jumps into his arms
"Wow! So big! Hahaha!" He scoops her up.
I cross my arms as he sits her on his shoulder and steps inside
I ran into him about a year after leaving Rome. We've been sparing here and there ever since.
"How much time did you buy us?"
"Six months."
"They're still looking?"
"You split three mountain ranges. You're lucky they didn't send Akainu."
"Lucky? I can just as easily put him down."
"You mean after the five elders get an earful about you. Then you're really screwed."
"Nya!" Cana yawns as she wobbles into the living room "Garp, you're here!" She lunged at him, giggling around with Lia before she suddenly collapses
I catch her before she'd hit the ground
She snorts before shaking back awake
"Slow down Cana. Don't get too excited." I help her back up
"Garp! You're really here!" She giggles, nearly passing out again.
"You okay, Cana?" Garp pats her head.
"Sure am!" She beams, "well, I'm kinda sick." She snorts
"Is that why Kara was in such a rush to get to the city?"
"She collapsed. Like like you just saw."
"Ya! It was scary!" Lia quivers
"I'm sure it was, darling." He smiles at Lia before turning his attention to Cana "I have the greatest doctors from across the world on my ship. I'll send a few over, get you checked up."
"Gee thanks!" She leans into his head pats.

Pov.

Maki and I lay together after sparring with Gojo.
"That's it? Oh c'mon, I'm nearly warmed up." He stretches his arm
"Asshole." I grumble
"Yeah…" Maki puffs
"Say, Thor. Who is that guy in your dorm." Gojo points up at Kara who was holding Lia.
"Thats Kara."
"Is he strong?" Gojo squints
"Tch." I roll my eyes.
More than I'm willing to admit.
Gojo smiles, "he your brother?"
"Dad… unfortunately."
"Really? Don't look it." Maki squints
"Yeah, well that guy is ancient. As ancient as that Sukana I'm willing to bet."
"Sounds fun…" Gojo stretches "tell him if he wants to stick around he owes me a spar."
"Whatever." I lay beside Maki. We go back and forth about our asshole parents before we each get called off to separate missions.
Itadori, Kugiasaki, Megumi, and I head to a prison.
We swept the halls for any curses but couldn't find a single one.
"Holy shit. This guy is dead as fuck, look at him." I poke his face, he was missing his entire torso
"Hey, have some respect for the dead, will you?!" Itadori growls.
"Hes a criminal." Megumi adds
"So what?! Nobody deserves to have their life cut-."
Before he could finish, the curse finally appeared.
It stood seamlessly between him and Megumi.
I spin back, creating a bow of lightning as I did.
I fire an arrow straight for its chest, only for the curse to teleport above my head.
My blonde hair flickers on end.
I manage to react as fast as lightning the moment his fist grazed my hair.
I spin above him and slam my shin into his back, burying him into the ground.
"Run!" I growl at the two, just before the curse blows us away with a painful cry.
His cry easily melted the skin off my forearms as if I was made of wax.
"Dammit. It's a special grade!" Megumi managed to retreat far enough.
"Get out of here! I'll hold him off!" I lunge at the curse
He easily spins and ducks everything I threw at him.
Except, I managed to do the same
I slam my knee into the back of his head.
He spins around and roars
I bring my hands together just in time, countering his beam with a piercing lightning bolt that split his attack and blew his jaw aside.
He slams his fist into my chin, burying me into the ceiling, following with another fist for my gut, blowing me onto the next floor.
He turns around for Megumi as I tear myself out of the ceiling.
I dive back into the bottom floor as he knocks Itadori around, after he managed to convince Megumi to search for Kugiasaki.
Who had been devoured by a shadow
I land beside Itadori and together we keep the spirit on a tight leash.
I slip by his fist and slam a Lightning bolt into his chest before I spin around and slam my shin into his ear.
Itadori swoops in and gives him three gut punches before he bashed him into the ground
"Bahaha! Need some help, brat?" Sukana laughs, a single eye and a small mouth on Itadori's cheek as I keep the cursed spirit off of him
"Never!" He springs onto his feet, slamming his fist into the curse before I slam my knee into the back of its head
I spin around, charging a chidori before shoving it through his back.
I tear out the cursed object that made it so strong as thousands of lightning sparrows chirp around us and he crumbles into ash
"Hey, look." I raise Sukana's finger, "must've ate this"
"No wonder he was so strong."
"Whats this? Three?"
"Yeah, Gojo gave me one too." He takes it "think I should wait for him to eat it?" He raises it above his head
"No way, you can control him, right?"
"Of course I can."
He swallows it.
The marks appear on his face before his cursed energy bursts.
I didn't have the greatest footing so it blows me back.
By the time I raised my head, Itadori's hand was in my face.
My magic energy flickers with electricity before I flip and spin over his arm, as fast as lightning.
"Hmm" Itadori smiles. "What was that?"
"Godspeed," I smirk. "I imbue lightning into my magic energy. Makes me as fast as lightning."
…
"Youre kidding right?" I smile after seeing the marks across his face.
"Last time must've been a fluke." Sukana stretches his arm.
"Just give it some time, a few seconds I bet." I cross my arms.
"Hmm… you're right." He pats his chin with his pointer. "Better take some percations." He shoves his hand into his chest and tears Itadori's heart out.
"You-fuck." I stumble into an offensive stance
"Now, let's see you take your body back." He opens his arms. "I dare you"
"Don't listen, Itadori!" I swing around him, nearly slamming my shin into his head before he snapped behind me
I twist around, blocking his fist and kneeing his gut.
He swings his arm from 3 meters away using his curse technique to split my chest open.
I manage to dodge the rest of his attacks before knocking him through the ceiling.
He flips around before I could catch him and slams his feet against my chest, blowing me out of the prison.
I manage to keep up using Godspeed.
He buries me into the dirt before I spring back to my feet.
He brings his hands together…
"Domain Expansion…" he smiles wickedly
"Malevolent Shrine."
His domain cuts me up all over as I block my face and my lightning works overtime to close the wounds as soon as he sliced me open.
"Impressive, Thor!" He roars
But just as he began letting loose on his unrelenting attacks his domain began to crumble thanks to Megumi and Kugiasaki.
I bring my fingertips together, aiming at Sukana.
"Lightning Phoenix."
The phoenix tackles him out of the sky and with a thunderous roar it buries him into the ground.
"You okay, Thor?" Kugiasaki and Megumi join me.
"Yeah…" I huff
"Tearing that domain down took everything we had."
"Hes strong, the least we can do is keep him busy until Gojo arrives.
"Youre kidding, right? I already have him beat!" I lunge at Sukana after he stumbles back onto his feet
He grins widely before catching my fist.
I block his shin and he blocks my elbow.
I catch his forearm. I pull him in and slam my knee into his temple. He uppercuts my gut, I grab his wrist and jerk him over my shoulder and bury him into the ground.
He clasps his hands together and aims for my chest.
"Fuga."
A fiery arrow smashes into my chest at point blank.
But thanks to sparring with Kara I managed to tank the attack like a boulder
I raise my hands to the sky and crunch my fingers before a hail of lightning crashes around us, molding him into the ground.
By the time the attack finished Sukana's Markings began disappearing
"Itadori…" I sit him up
"Crap, I really screwed it this time." He coughs. "Please tell me everyone else is fine…"
"They are, just… hold on."
"I just wish… I could've done more… with my life…" his head rolls down
