Fred POV
"Well your girlfriend hadn't paid off her rent for nine months now and you seem rich so pay it off for her." He demanded. "It's either it's paid or we get back to what we were doing."
"Hey I don't owe you nine months." Happy shouted at him and I raised my hand to signal her to stop.
"Don't worry, I'll pay it off and we're moving out of here." I got out my cheque from my pants, it's a good thing I carry it around.
I wrote him a cheque then threw it at him. "There, keep the change."
He bent down and picked the money then smiled a creepy smile at us.
"Your homemade drink or whatever is still on the fire. Burn my house and you'll pay."
" Get out!" I yelled at the stupid landlord. He smirked then walked out.
"Are you okay?" I asked Happy. I checked her all over to see if she was hurt or anything.
I observed her to see how are condition was, if she was shaken by this and but she seem rather calm.
"Of course, thank you for saving me." She responded.
