Allen's POV
The inspector gave us all instructions to go to the cafeteria and receive our ID cards and to check the schools website were the class placing would be. We we're about to leave when a girl who was running hurriedly approached.
"W-wait! I haven't done my exam yet!" The inspector paused and looked at her then at the list of kids with superpowers then frowned.
"Name?"
"Alexandra Paddinton" The girl smiled and the inspector hummed searching for her name.
"Sorry you're not on the list, this test is for suppers" She was about to walk away when Alexandra grabbed her wrist.
"Ah Wait i-i don't have powers b-but I can also be a hero look" She lifts up a foot almost shoving it in the instructors face and tripped then stood awkwardly. "I-I designed it, it makes me run super fast by reducing the gravity on me and it super soft I bet I can beat any of them or at least keep us with their enhanced speed even makes me hover a bit!"

Now that got me interested.
"A-and didn't you notice my shirt looks different that's because I made it using a special light alloy that's basically light leather armor and look! My wristband isn't ordinary it has a feature right here that allows me to fire shots of real molten magma that's stored in a little container! And it has other features too like a force field that activates when my heart beat spikes and it has a small storage pouch for storing thing!" She beamed and shoved her wrist into the instructors face.
"Look little girl that's cute and all I'm sure you're invention might help a lot of people" She started making the girls face light up. "But it's dangerous for ordinary people to fight real villains take that guy that killed Astral girl despite her being from space she was killed by a novice villian if your watch suddenly gets broken during battle and your shoes worn out what will you do? Is your lifespan long? Is your bdoy durable to take on even explosives? Other than hovering let's say the enemy has an advantage in the sky let me guess you'll get a jet pack or what? Leave the saving the the real supers girl" The inspector said and walked away leaving the dejected girl on the stage.
Soon whispers broke out, some loud and others hushed but mostly loud.
"Hehe she actually thought she could be a superhero"
"What a joke"
"But those were pretty cool gadgets"
"Such a geek"
The girl couldn't take the ridiculing and ran off.
Jake who was suddenly standing beside us disappeared.
"Heh? Brother?"Jordan calls out whipping his head around.
I tugged on his sleeve. "Come on we'll meet him at the cafeteria"
