20th July, 19XX
Walker Corps,
19XX was the peak of Henry Walker reign, as his brother was announced dead. Leaving him the only heir to the throne of Walker Corps, which was why there was an urgent board meeting at 4am.
The board of directors and shareholders who were onboard were sweating buckets, as they look at the man on the middle seat. Henry like all the other Walkers, he had grey eyes. Those piercing grey eyes, one look can take the soul out of a person.
He was in his prime at the age of 30, people would describe him as a man with a very alluring charm. Midnight black hair, thick sharp eyebrows, and flawless tanned skin. His looks unlike his older brother Cedric Walker, who always had his hair up.
Henry meanwhile always had his fringe down, one would take him for a harmless playboy. But there was news that he was a dangerous man who does not bat an eyelid when killing, he had little to no patience.
'Thud, thud, thud, thud...' the sound of fingers tapping the table could be heard. It was especially blaring in the quiet conference room.
"Sir...."
"My brother has died." one sentence and all the noises quietened down.
Henry roughly skimmed through the room of people, smirking he stood up.
"Sir!"
"Use whatever means possible to take down the news." He tilt his head as he signal the man who was calling out to him.
Clint Howard, one of the shareholder of Walker Corps stood up. "With all due respect, I believe Madam Bianca should have a say in th...Urgh!"
'AHHH' the crowd screamed as they saw Clint's body flew across the long table.
'BAM'
Henry pin Clint's neck down onto the table as he stared down at him, "Oops how uncanny of me." letting go of the hand that was pinning him down, he cleaned his hand with a cloth.
"Let me make this short and simple."
"I want the news of my brother be gone by tonight, I do not care how much money is spend on it. Am I understood?" he frowned as he loosened his tie.
"Yes, Sir!" All said in unison, seeing that Henry scoffed. 'A bunch of weaklings' he thought, before walking out of the room.
----------
Next Day,
The funeral was held in De Luca Manor in Italy. Many flew across the state to Italy in a day to pay respect to Cedric walker who died in a tragic car accident.
Both Bianca and Cedric was in the car accident, but she managed to survive that accident, Meanwhile Cedric was pronounced dead at scene, it was a gory sight on the accident scene,
It was said they were under attack by identities not known yet, but many suspected it to be the Russian's. The car was ruthlessly shot at, with the back of the car totally destroyed. It was suspected that a huge car crashed into their car, leading to the car being totally destroyed.
The De Luca's secret guards came at the nick of time to fight off the assassins, if they were any later. Cedric's body who was shielding Bianca from the bullets, would not be able to hold on much longer.
Back to the funeral,
Henry stood by his brothers tomb, lighting a cigarette. He look solemnly, everyone who was paying respect to Cedric decided to silently leave the venue as they did not want to disturb the eccentric Henry.
In the dead of the night, only the sound of insects could be heard. Henry stood by staring at blank space, on the grass patch below him was litters of liquors, one after too many,
'Clank'
The glass he was holding was cracked into half, "My dear brother..." he laughed loudly, one would take him for a madman.
Sighing he looked up at the sky, "Uncle Henry?" a soft voice called out to him.
Looking to his right, he saw a little girl. Seemingly the age of 11, with blonde hair and green eyes. She reminds him of his brother who had equally bright blonde hair, but her eyes looks just like Bianca's.
"Child, come here." flicking his hand towards himself, he signalled the girl over.
Karina who was the little girl look daze, she slowly walked towards him. Bowing her head she greeted "Uncle Henry." she did not raise her head until she was allowed to, by the tradition of the family.
"You must be little Karina?" Henry squat to the level of her, gently patting her head. "Today is not the day you should be coming here."
"Papa, where did he go?" her big eyes look towards Cedrics tomb.
"Go back first child, I still got things to say to your Papa." he did not reply her, gently he signal to his guard who was in the shadows.
A guard flew from nowhere, kneeling in front of him. "Sir?"
"Escort her back into her room." with a flick of his hand, he dismiss them. Turning around, he light another cigarette.
After he knew no one was around, he silently murmured "Don't worry, I will help you take care of your....."
Walking closer, he swipe the leaf on the tomb. 'Wife' he thought, before turning without looking back.
There was a sudden gushed of wind when Henry walk away, no one could see but he had on an eerily predatory smile.
~ Neither does he know, in the near future something he did would come back and bite him at the back. ~
