"[Mass Healing]!" Joana called out. Channeling her magic with a burst of bright light that covered the make shift hospital.
The warriors were caught off guard by her outburst and were blinded.
The light Joana emitted traveled quite the distance and even reach the edge of the battlefield.
When the light disappeared and the warriors regained their vision, all of them immediately noticed that their bodies doesn't hurt anymore. When they looked down, all their wounds and burns were healed.
They then looked at Joana with reverie, grateful to witness the power of a miracle healer, but not before she collapsed.
Luckily some of the warriors near her are quick to react and caught her before she hit the ground.
Leslie who just regain her vision saw the warriors laying down her friend and rushed to Joana's side and held her hand.
Leslie is too shocked to speak, even though she tried to.
Charlotte who just returned after nearly being blinded by the light also rushed to Joana's side.
"Hey Joana? Can you hear me?" Charlotte asked as she checked her pulse, 'its stable, that's good.'
She then checked her eyes. But before she could do anything more, a senior warrior grabbed her by the arm asking, "What are you doing?"
"Checking if my friend is okay." Charlotte answered as she yanked her arm out of his grasp
"You're not a Babaylan (bah-bai-lahn). Even if you're one of those so called Heroes you don't have the right." He said back to her.
"So what!" Charlotte then stared the warrior right in his face as they stared at each other, the warrior a little taller.
"Knock it off." Someone said as she walked, "The Miracle Healer collapsed after she healed us, its only right we at least check if she's in danger after performing her miracle."
When the female warrior said this, only then did the male warrior stood down, and Charlotte immediately went back to checking up on Joana.
-Battlefield-
Alex was still gathering energy. Though for other it seems excessive, even for Alex himself, but he has this uneasy feeling that it wouldn't be enough and he won't be able to pull this move again after he fired it.
Its been almost 2 minutes and he's still condensing his magic, it even got Storm and Dagat a little worried because of how much magic Alex is using for his attack, and how long he's taking.
They are human too, and they have limits, they aren't like Shula who is monstrous when it comes to stamina, then on top of that she has Tlaloc defending her.

The thunderbeast howled again as lightning began dancing once more as clouds are forming above them.
Both Dagat and Storm has no way to defend so they considered just taking away Alex and run in the opposite direction. But in their moment of hesitation, lightning fell once more.
Its fast. So fast they didn't even recognize the lightning has descended, they just felt their hair all over their body stood up.
The lightning suddenly changed direction.
Alex, Storm, and Dagat gazed at the direction at which the lightning went and they all saw Elijah.
"Elijah watch out-!" Alex called out, frightful of what might happen if Elijah is hit by the lightning.
But contrary to what the three of them expected, Elijah wasn't fried by the lightning, instead it seems that it was absorbed instead.
"Hey everyone, you don't have to worry anymore, because I am here." Elijah said with confidence as his hand are touching his waist and his chest puffed out.
Alex rolled his eyes, "Enough with the reference, you're making me loose focus."
"Did that streak of light came from you?" Dagat asked.
"Yeah. Somehow the lightning doesn't hurt me, so I came to be a meat shield, at least for the lightning I can't tank a hit from those huge claws," Elijah jokingly said as he scratched his chin.
"Alright, we'll continue as before, Hajile or whatever your name is, just keep those lightning away from us." Dagat's stern voice echoed as he and Storm got back into position.
"It's Elijah, thank you very much." Elijah corrected.
"Give me a few more seconds, I'm almost ready," Alex said in the background.
Storm, Dagat and Elijah all nodded. Then Storm and Dagat went back on the offensive while Elijah fired a few arrows here and there while occasionally catching the lightning attacks and sending it back.
The battle is reaching a stalemate as things started to slowdown, as the three thunderbeasts are being held back, with a few warriors occasionally getting injured.
-Back at the makeshift hospital.-
Calen arrived with bated breaths as well a bag, presumably filled with herbs and medical tools. He showed up as Charlotte is doing a check-up on Joana.
Calen seeing this immediately checked Joan's condition and diagnosed her with a severe lack of magic, he then scampered through his bag and brought out a few herbs as well as a pestle and mortar and then began crushing the herbs.
