"Exiled?! What do you mean exiled?!" Alex screamed from the top of his lungs as he slammed his hands on the table, his friends heard this and they hurried to see what was going on as Kristin whispered "We're only gonna listen, don't let yourselves be caught,"
They then positioned their selves just barely peeking downstairs as they watch what is happening.
"Let me explain first dear," Mrs. Winter said as she tried to calm down Alex. As Alex hear this, he sat down again as he knew what he did was inappropriate.
As Alex sat down again, Mrs. Winter continued, "Back when you were born, it was forbidden to have a relationship outside our race as those who did so was exiled to this world. And as beings made of mana, it was a death sentence to sent here,
"But you are a special case, your father is a human, and humans in Phantasia has the ability to generate their own mana, even though they don't know it, as humans over there are greedy with very few being nice, we didn't tell them they could generate their own mana.

His father was one of them, Alex's father was on a quest to slay a chimera beast that was also known as a manticore, terrorizing their village, and as they were fighting it, his father was fatally wounded, but was able to run away along with his also heavily injured companions.
The beast, a manticore, they tried to slay was on their tail and they knew they couldn't out run it in their current situation, Alex's father volunteered to be left behind to distract the beast as he was already fatally wounded.
His relationship with his companions were so strong that they weren't ready to give up on him yet, as they were childhood friends that grew up, trained, and got strong together, if he were to die, then they would too. As they argued while running, the beast has already caught up with them, the beast roared in triumph as it thought it would kill his attackers.
There was a woman strolling in the forest with her friend when they heard the roar of the beast and they tried to run away as they were told to not get into any trouble, but as the were about to run, they heard some men scream, "Algaia no, don't get into unnecessary trouble," one of the woman said.
"But Phaenna..." the one named Algaia's reply was cut short when they heard the men scream again, Algaia just started running towards the screams as the one named Phaenna has no other choice but to follow.
They arrived just a few seconds later as they analyzed the situation first and when they saw 3 men protecting a barely alive man, Algaia quickly spring into action, "By the force of the winds, Hinc Avolare"
As Algaia said so, strong winds came and blew the beast away as while Phaenna moved towards the injured man, as the others saw this, they immediately formed a defensive formation as they thought she was an enemy.
Phaenna just said to them, "Don't worry, we're here to help," as she just apeared past the men seamlessly they didn't see how she did it, but as the men were thinking what just happened, Phaenna was already crouching beside the injured man and chanted, "Spirits heed my call and heal the one that fall, Sana Vulnera Eius"
As she chanted, green light began to gather around the wound of the fallen man as it was healing at a rapid pace, but it stopped before the wound fully closed, "Tsk, Algaia I can't heal him fully, we need to take him back to the village!" Phaenna called out as Algaia was throwing another spell, replied "Okay!"
Algaia then came to a standstill as she positioned her hands in front of her, outstretched, and chanted, "Fall into the earth like those who died with worth, Hirundo Tarrae"
The earth beneath the beast opened up and a pair of hands made of earth grab hold of it and drag it into the ground, the manticore tried to resist but was ultimately swallowed by the ground.
Algaia then turned around towards her friend Phaenna who was carrying the man with the help of the winds, "Let's go, I don't know if that's enough to hold it in place" Algaia said, and soon after Phaenna did some hand signs, a crack in space itself appeared and they both jump in, the other 3 men was hesitant but they heard Algaia's voice from inside that says, "Jump in or you'll get eaten by that manticore,"
And without another moment, they jump in as the crack started to close up when the 3rd man jumped.
