"I will never say no to something, I already said yes for dear." Luna said as the crispy sound of chips breaking into her mouth hum with as her iris become large as flavour of the most spiciest chips lands on the tongue. Her face began to turn slowly red but it didn't stop her on her track as she enjoys eating spicy food a lot.
"You are okay, Luna? Your face is turning red at a visible rate." Larissa asked with worried expression, she can tell this is her body reaction to the eating of new spicy chips. Larissa walked to the closest tap water to the cafeteria and fill up the glass with water.
"Here, drink water first Luna." Soft smiles formed on Luna's lips and eyes as she watched glass of water in Larissa's hand.
"You don't have to be worried over something like this. I have a quite good tolerance for hot and spicy food." Luna said as grab the glass of water from Larissa's hand and drank it down in one gulp.
"Sure, I know." Larissa said with a small laugh as she watched Luna drink the water.
"Let's go to the lake of serene spirit of mother nature that is calling for us dear." Luna begins to walk in front as she leads Larissa to the lake she wanted to see together with her, while continuing to eat the same chips.
Trefore and his friends stood outside the academy main building surrounded by his class mate as they were discussing important event that about to take place in academy soon but soon his eyes start darting around somewhere else as his friends look at where he is looking at they saw two girls going towards the path that leads to the lake.
"Do you think Trefore like one of these freshmen?" Shelly asked Brian with a husk tone as they don't want others to know about what they were talking, as he is always by his side and knows everything regarding him.
"Yup, I really think he has a crush over that brown hair girl. I saw him sneak peeking at her from day one and he also walked around freshman class a lot on the pretext of looking after his acquaintance."
Larissa and Luna both walk freely around the lake road as they watch all the flowers and trees growing besides the pavement, Luna still eating her chips but this time slowly walking around with a red face in front of the other felt embarrassing. For a few seconds Luna felt like someone was looking at her, she didn't think much of it as even during the class students were looking at what happened in the morning but this one is different.
As she turns around to look at who's looking at her, her eyes fall upon the boy who she saw just a couple of minutes ago in the staff room. Luna quickly turned her head around not looking at him again. But to Trefore it was completely different.
'She turned her head around as soon as our eyes met, she must have felt shy to look at me but still she kept sneaking up on me from time to time. She must have fall for me.' Trefore tighten his fist with a smirk on his lips as no girl can ever escape from his devilish charm, he runs his fingers through his hair to make them ruffled and wavy.
"Let's go, we shouldn't waste more time than we already did." Trefore began to walk in front of the group with both hands in his pocket and humming sweet romantic melodies. Everyone looked at him but chose not to ask him yet as they didn't want to ruin the melody from stopping playing but he was the reason they didn't go to the class like the others as he was waiting for someone.
Larissa look at beautiful serene lake together with Luna, both of them haven't said word for a while as they just stared at the lake water and birds flying in the sky while chirping, Larissa turns her eyes on Luna face as she happily watch over everything like child see the world for the first time. She couldn't imagine how Luna was able to put the same innocent smile all the time and curiosity in her eyes for everything whether it is a small thing or big to truly appreciate the beauty of the world.
As she watches Luna's happy face, a quiet smile forms on her face too, she remember when she went to library to borrow the book and she met one of the boys from their class Minamo and he said something to her which caught her attention she didn't quite get it but she did get little bit off it. He was the one who told her to go to the lake with Luna today, he was polite with his words and didn't sound rude and his request wasn't that bad either as Luna also kept on asking her to visit the lake together.
"Luna, these beautiful birds soaring over the serene lake knows where their future nest will be once the lake vanishes along with the river of time in the forgotten mist of tomorrow but will you be able to find the nest?" Luna looked at emerald eyes shining beneath the sunny day light with reflection of serene blue water. For the first time Larissa saw the eyes of Luna become a soft unexplainable depth of emotion turmoil as if she knew the answer but wasn't able to bring herself to utter from her lips. Luna remained silent for a minute as she tried to come up with an answer that was honest to herself and her emotion.
"There's no right answer to this but if there's one then it will lie in the following words… The bond we once shared is lost with time as one is left for the journey to the other side, while I'll wait for you at the memories we once made in the flourished bloomed forest of our youth." As her voice fell Luna close her eyes as she let soft gale pass through her hair as they flutter in air and with her closed eyes she see the shape of the gale through her vivid imagination.
"That's something deep that even I couldn't come up with an answer like this." Hearing Larissa words Luna just gently smiled at her with her eyes closed and slowly opened her eyelids like flower petals.
"Wanna know the interpretation of my answer or you want to come up with your own explanation first dear?"
"Let me guess first." Larissa starts to ponder over the Luna answer and she doesn't want to fail at this as she's the one who asked this weird question first.
"As the nest is the bond and serene lake is cherished memories and river of time is our youth we are currently living and the forgotten mist of tomorrow is something I hope never comes true." Larissa said as she looked at Luna besides her, who had a gentle smile on her face as listens to her explanation.
"That sounds quite right but you were only a little bit far from the answer, I'm pretty sure if you think more carefully enough you might get the answer." Larissa tries to think carefully about how Luna is able to come up with this answer but more she thinks more confused she becomes as the question itself didn't have any answer from the beginning.
"Its really hard to come up with how you interpreted this as question like this doesn't have the right answer as based on one experience in life and emotion, question itself change person to person and your interpretation of this question is something I don't think I'll able to come at soon for while." Larissa dropped her shoulder dejectedly as she couldn't even understand the question itself in first place and she told to ask this question to Luna by that Minamo guy.
"Well, don't get defeated over this yet, who knows you might come up with the right answer in your daydreaming." Luna covers her mouth with her hands as she laughs at Larissa's confused face.
"What are you talking about Luna? I don't day dream nor ever did." Larissa has genuine confusion written on her face as she thought of herself as someone who doesn't daydreaming at all.
"Of course you do, dear, if anyone pays attention to you they will notice it too that most of the time you are lost in your own thoughts and don't pay attention to your surroundings. I didn't mean to offend you with this but I'm genuinely concerned about you dear." Luna voice resounds in her ear, Larissa lower her head to look at palm of her hands as this very first time someone told her she has day dreaming bad habit and she didn't even realise it, she try to think over the past few years when and where she might have started day dreaming but she has no recollection of that in her mind. Luna look at the down eyes off Larissa as she seems to be affected by what she just said but she didn't mean to be rude or provoke her but she watched over Larissa the past few days and notices how she seems to be zoning out most of the time and looking out of the place and getting lost inside her own head as if she day dreaming all the time.
"Larissa, I'm always here for you dear. If there's something bothering or things that you can't share with anyone else I'm always here for you, I might not be able to help you out but atleast I can listen to your pain and what causing you to suffer like this on your own. You don't have to say it now, you can tell me about it when you feel comfortable and safe with me." Luna gently reached out her hand and hold Larissa hand to eat her now she's not alone, she always here for her. Larissa closed her eyes as breathing become fast for some reason simple words from Luna almost made cry out loudly, she closed her eyes to stop her tears from falling from her eyes. She can feel the warmth in her hand as Luna palm is resting on to her back of the hand on her desk.
Larissa sat without saying anything for a moment trying calm her mind and she felt if she spoke soon she might ended up crying out. She was grateful for the Luna words.
"Thank you Luna, hearing this make me feel a lot better than before but I truly don't have any problems going on in my life. If there's really something I'll without doubt share it with you."
