(From Blue's Perspective)
I fell asleep for a while, then woke up maybe just ten minutes later. The same thing went on and on. It was better not to rest at all than this. It only made me more tired and gave me a really bad headache.
Dion was sleeping on my chest, with my arm protectively pressing him against me. He was even snoring in an adorable way.
I was a little envious of him. He could sleep so well, without any knowledge of the world. But then again, he could sleep well because his parents were there to keep him safe. At least, losing our sleep would keep our son safe and happy.
I got up and without putting Dion down, I walked around the room with him in my arms. How could there be nail scratches on his out of nowhere? To some, it might not seem of that much concern, but it actually was a worrying thing, especially when Dem and I had been so overprotective of our son. And he was always with us. He never could accidentally get scratched by either of us.
