Clarice hugged the princess tight and felt great pity for the child in front of her. Not many people know what the twins have gone through in the past but being Diva's wife and his partner in the military, has made her know and bite more than she can chew when it comes to the amount of information passed and given to them by the spies that they handle. Well, what she handles most. Diva may be in the long-range and sniper department but Clarice was with the information gathering division.
Her eyebrows furrowed at why the twins are risking their lives to be part of a long-time massacre of a tradition of their kingdom in picking out the next queen. She never approved of how the selections are done as it all ends up in a massacre. It is also the reason why in the man-eaters kingdom, it is typical to have more than one daughter in the household for one of them to partake in the competition and the other to keep the family running if ever the parents die.
