Chapter 12 - Encouragement

Third Person P.O.V

Jaime tucked the baby sister in bed, all comfy. He had to change her clothes and wipe the blood from her hair and hands. The smell of blood was much fainter than before. He was not surprised that Violet would kill someone. To be honest, he was pleased with her actions and would love to have witnessed her baby sister commit the murder her blood could never resist.

Jaime did not want to admit that he was irritated that Paine got first dibs on witnessing the baby sister's first food. Heck, he didn't even get to see the state of the woman's body after Violet completed her task.

Surely they have got it on tape through the security camera in every room, right?

Jaime caught himself smiling crazily; excitement could be clearly seen in his eyes. Looking at the precious baby sleeping soundly, sighed and decided to talk to John first about the little one's deed.

"Oh, he is not going to be happy.", Jaime whispered to himself, seeing light escaping the brother's partially opened door.

John looked up from his screen to inspect his appearance. "You look fucked up, " he stated calmly, pointing at the mirror on the wall. Jaime looked at his reflection.

He did look like shit. Sweaty and feeling sticky from the blood that was clumped up on Violet's hair.

"I need to tell you something."

"You don't need to tell me. I already know." Jaime, feeling tired and with the migraine that continues to worsen, just let his brother explain himself. As he sat down on a chair, John continued to explain how he knew right from the start when he tucked the twins in bed. How Violet got in the basement the first time, and it would cause her to go back downstairs out of curiosity.

What the eldest brother didn't expect was what their baby sister would do. Kill the bitch that was strapped to the metal table.

John continued to inform him of how and what Violet had used to dispose of the girl. His little brother just sat there staring at the ceiling. John took one small towel from his medicine drawer and threw it at his brother's face, covering the perverted smile and eyes of the maniac.

"She's growing and turning. I'm still debating whether we should expose her to all of it.", John twirled in his seat, obviously also going crazy about what he witnessed in the CCTV cameras. "Maybe we can make her one of us to prevent the accidents before.", Jaime wiped his face hard and peeked at him. "Turn her into a crazy psycho like us? Are you sure?"

"In the past, she was part of the other faction, limiting her experiences about anything that involves murder. It made her frightened of what wecan do. Oh, remember how she always ran away before?" John was now all smiles, staring at the screen where a picture of Violet smiling while she stabbed the woman's face.

Flashback - 2 millennia ago

The banquet hall was already full to the brim with families from all of the factions and races. The brothers' entrance was announced, and everyone bowed at the six princes who walked in and sat beside the king, their father.

"Everyone, this magnificent banquet is for my adorable twins." Everyone was baffled at what the king had said.

"Twins?", the triplets spoke at the same time. "Father, I thought it was just a son?", Jaime asked their father, who continued to look at the door waiting for his children's grand entrance.

The father hushed all of his sons. The huge golden doors opened revealing a handsome man wearing a white suit, a golden sword by his waistband, a white cloak on his shoulder and a woman whose face was hidden behind a white laced mask decorated with pearls and flowers wearing a white dress with blood red leaves embroidered at its chest and tulles of black, red, and violet attached to her waist that flows down to the floor. The mask clearly hides her whole face from all the onlookers.

"I thought it was still a babe?"

"Hmph! Are they really the king's children?",

"The young man seems so handsome.",

"White clothes! From that faction?"

"How absurd!" Whispers can be heard inside the hall. People from different factions, especially the heads, were all quiet. Seemingly waiting for what the king would say next.

The pair walked towards the throne where the king sat and bowed their head low, showing respect. "Raise your heads. This is a banquet held for the two of you, my children. My son and daughter, Michael and Violet!" the king emphasised and raised his voice at the word children.

Everyone bowed and acknowledged the new prince and princess as a part of the kingdom. They all bowed out of respect for the king, but a lot of people were angered that the newly protected faction had infiltrated the court.

Rulers who sat at their specific corners smiled. A princess has come. It was a chance of a lifetime for the powerful families to have their heir sit on the throne as the king.

"A princess.", "A woman.", "A sister.", the triplets whispered amongst themselves.

"Brother, did you know?", Jaime asked the eldest for answers.

John could not answer his little brother's question and was in a sort of trance, staring at the young lady in front of him. Her face was covered, but you could still catch a glimpse of her dark chocolate eyes behind the veil.

John met her eyes, thinking that she would turn away in fear, but instead stared him down.

"Feisty, aren't we?" He whispered, but it was clearly heard by his brothers, who now all stared at the young lady.

Violet shifted herself and still held tightly to her twin's arm for comfort and looked back at all of their eyes, not backing down from the fear that slowly enveloped her body. People started to flock around the two, pulling them away from the throne and around the room.

The princess was pulled away from her twin when several princesses from all over the world came to converse with her. The new brother was introduced to different rulers by their father, who was beside the man.

When the crowd settled down, the music began, and everyone partnered up. This banquet wasn't only for the announcement, but it was a chance for young people to meet and find their partner in life. This, of course, irritated the brothers to no end for all of the bitches who had thick skin to even ask for their dance. It was a daily occurrence of the king urging his sons to look for a pair. Hoping they would find a suitable fiancée.

Tristan approached his new sister to ask for a dance. He, unfortunately, missed his chance when the heir of the man-eater clan asked for the young lady's hand for a dance. Tristan just shook his head when a sudden gust of wind passed by him, and now John was in front of their sister.

"I'm sorry, cannibal, but the princess has a dance partner already." Holding the little sister's hand and pulled her swiftly onto the dance floor, leaving the man baffled on the spot.

Walking in the middle of the dance floor and got into the starting position for the waltz. The orchestra started the song as soon as the two were ready. Violet allowed her brother, a stranger, to lead the dance.

"Icould've handled it.", she whispered, meant only for John's ears.

John tensed up hearing the soft voice. Mentally noting that this was his baby sister. "That boy is persistent. He would never back down. A very dangerous boy." He motioned for her to look at the man whom they had abandoned where she previously stood. His words had crinkled her brows in slight disbelief.

"All of you are dangerous.", she remarked.

The words made him chuckle while they danced at the centre of the room. "Yes, we are, princess. All men and women in this kingdom are dangerous. We are demons after all. That includes you. Your blood may be half, but the blood of a demon is strong. Soon you will be just as dangerous as we all are."

Violet looked away with a frown. She knew what he said was right, for it was the reason she could not go back above. Rejected by her people who found out about her demonic blood, ignored and ostracised.

The music ended; they bowed to each other. Paine took the chance and appeared at her side. "May I have the next dance?", Violet hesitated a bit, for the man in front of her had a weird, crooked smile and blood-red eyes. Yet it was rude to reject her brother's offer, so she placed her hand on top of his.

"Yes."

The other boys stood close to where the two danced around the room. Red eyes glowing darker by the second. One of them bit their bottom lip, and the other held back his hand as they watch their triplet dance with their new sister.
